Funny seeing Lisa Fisher, Chuck Levall and Bernard Fowler all looking such spring chickens here. Backing musician loyalty - to and from the band - is another fixture of the Stones as per horn section of last two decades and D Jones & many others over the years (especially B Keys). Ian Stewart was a Stone.
Muy buena canción, pero no hay ningun comentario en español. El que lea el mensaje que le eche un vistaso a mi canal. Me encantan los coros de esta canción.
They're not glorifying the devil he's just saying evil has been there through all time and and has been the root of most of the worlds problems........but as he says hes watched for ten decades while kings and queens fought for the God they made...Isn't that what is still happening all over the world right now ?????
The "Stones" although an idol to many, will one day be no more, just as Michael Jackson, John Lennon,Jimi Hendrix, the Beach Boys, and others who have gone before them. Will they cease to exist? The most important part of them will live on, and that is their Spirits. If they chose to glorify the Devil ( as this song does) that's who they will spend eternity with. Jesus is the true Victor- not Lucifer!Eternity in Heaven ( because you've repented & asked Jesus to save you) is better than burning
@danganbeg You can say God doesn't exist, but just because you can't see Him, doesn't mean He isn't real. Actually, when you look at nature & the design of the Universe, you can see that there must have been a Higher power behind it all . It couldn't have just happened. Order doesn't come about by itself. God loves you, and you can know Him personally if you ask Him to forgive your sins & invite Jesus to come into your life. You'll know He's real when you experience Him for yourself!
@Bernie8903 God loves those starving people. Why doesn't He help them? He allows suffering to exist for a time- until He returns to Earth. He can even work the suffering of starvation for good in a way that we cannot see. The devil & his demonic forces are really the cause of all evil &pain. But one day- when the time is right,God will put an end to it all.Jesus will rule & reign on this Earth, & the world will be a much better place!Do you know Him?Repent of your sins & invite Jesus in ur life!
@7ohnnyramone I agree. They were at the top of their game for this tour. I'm glad it was the tour I saw them on, although any Stones show would be good. Just not THIS good.
This was the ultimate tour 1989! The road back from the LONG layoff. The stage was incredible! The first in super rock preformances. The set list, the BEST! The band was so tight. This is the last time we see Bill with the band. Keith was at his best!. My absolute favorite tour next to 1975 (the first time I saw them) I have such GREAT memories. Thank you Chriss for posted this!!
=Wonderful= audio grab on this single most important, insightful and illuminating set of lyrics Mick ever wrote (among many). "Lucifer" -- a man of =wealth=.
keiths firing on all 8 cyl on this song one of the best versions of this song funny when you see the stones live how different the song sounds from show to show all are great but some just take your breath away
Keith is one of the all time great guitarists in my book I know he makes his living on the rhythm end but he is a great lead player when he it comes time for him to play lead and he understands that there's more to being a great guitarist than just going outhere and shredding and ripping off 5 minute solos.
its so sick, because what he's playin in the solo isnt hard at all, but he has such a crazy style of bends and hitting harmonics it really makes it his own sound... classic.. thnx for upload!

I saw them at the Hoosier Dome in Indy in 89'. It was almost as good as seeing them in Chicago in 80'. Great shows.
