The lake road stretches for about 17 miles, until you cross a bridge and end up at Westmin Mines at the south end of the lake. It's a great drive. And there are two really terrific Provincial Park campgrounds beside the lake. Strathcona Park is also a hiker's paradise and a hiking destination for many. Some people refer to Strathcona park as "Little Switzerland".
