It's a full motion video game. meaning finding a copy of it would be like looking for the Ark of The Convent and the Holy Grail. And even if you found a copy unless you have a computer with windows 98 on it you aren't going to get to play it.
It would be trickery if it was just, ".... understand the concept of x." However, they said it in the form of ".... understand the concept of ' x' " The x being "trick" or "trickery." Since he was making a reference to the other person's sentence, the second form works.
Correction, I reinstalled the game and tried playing through it today. And after some 10 years of buying the game, finally completed it today 10 or so years on :D
My error?? I'd been trying to put the code in on the Borg console too frigging quickly and kept screwing it up.

I always had a problem with this part, every time I go to put the code in on the console, if automatically jumps to the "failed" video scene. I've had this game for 10 years and never completed it because of that glitch :(

Yeah, I was the same way. I got stuck here as well. (Although, when you do the wrong thing, what Q tells you w/ your death is quite funny). I just couldn't understand the lack of a cheat here, as there were other places (or if I remember it correctly it seemed to be some foreign language other than English that the cheat was written in). Agreed, the Klingon game had more understandable cheats. I'm curious to see what happened after this part of the game.
