having a raptor, let alone any avian, is a HUGE responsibility. i believe more than owning a dog. i have seven birds and am working towards getting a raptor and even though i've had dozens of birds, i doubt my own ability in owning a raptor.

try cage and avairy bird paper from news agent, they list loads of birds for sale in the back, but learn about it first, its not always easy and theirs alot of equipment to buy which can be expensive. theirs courses you can go on to

i have a female harris she is evil she is 19 wks old i have trained her up its my first hawk ive had her 6 wks and she has had rabbit hare mice partridge and a pheasant and to boot she nailed a pidgin for her first kill. im well happy with her but i have put some real hard work in as i flush for her. lamping is next

that says a lot about how much you know about owls! granted some owls are no good but some are ace at hunting. but then some birds are no good and some are you have to know what type of owl to get for hunting. your the type of person that would buy a golden eagle to hunt in the woods and on farm land. you know nothing
