I'm so sorry about your friend. His doctor definitely missed key symptoms and it sounds like it was due to the fact that he didn't have health insurance, which is tragic. As a nurse this makes me very angry, just because you don't have health insurance doesn't mean you shouldn't receive quality healthcare. Your friend didn't have to die. I'm so sorry.

Death is one of those things we can never quite get used to because it is so final and even when you know it is coming you always think you will have more time with that person...so it always seems too sudden.

I hope all is well. I knew that after you told us to watch MTV true life schizophrenia and you didn't even bother to give us your opinion on the show that your enthusiasm for vlogs isn't there. As long as your happy and getting out of the house then we as fans of yours should be happy for you. I miss your vids immensely,but if your doing well then i could live with very infrequent vlogs. I miss your vlogs what can i say.

oh! I knew I forgot something! I forgot about the mtv thing...thanks for reminding me...I guess I'm a bit late. :( Actually things have been a bit weird lately. 2 friends of mine died, my jr. high school counselor died, another girl I knew died and then a plane crashed into a house a couple of blocks away from my family's beach house. I'm a bit unnerved and in shock...haven't really been able to process it all yet...

Now for a personal touch... We die to live and live to die, but as long as we share our loved ones memories with the ones that loved them they shall forever remain in our memories... I truly am touched by your loss as I have lost as well and I hope with all my heart that god lets your heart heal and you can find peace in keeping forever your friends memory in the your soul where only god and loved ones dwell.

I'm so sorry about your friend. His doctor definitely missed key symptoms and it sounds like it was due to the fact that he didn't have health insurance, which is tragic. As a nurse this makes me very angry, just because you don't have health insurance doesn't mean you shouldn't receive quality healthcare. Your friend didn't have to die. I'm so sorry.

i'm so dreadfully sorry to hear of your friend, its really shocking when our friends die. i hope with this new election something will be done about the rotten health system in america. no one should ever be overlooked for their proper care! take care friend.

I used to love the show "Dead like Me" too!
It's too bad they canceled it. And I watched every single episode of six feet under. that was a great show!
I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I just found out today that one of my former employees passed away. Death is one of those things we can never quite get used to because it is so final and even when you know it is coming you always think you will have more time with that person...so it always seems too sudden.

I feel very sad for your loss. It brings up other losses too. I hope you are honoring the grieving process and taking good care of yourself through it. If you ever need to talk you know where I am. Good shows - I think fiction can help us with the reality of death, to process our emotions around it. I want to believe our spirit goes on somehow too.
