... has a history in drumming, or drumming knowledge. So That one little bit of info made things fall into place. and it made alot more sense to me. Thank You for the Lesson.
Damn Good Video Lesson Man. I'm a Beginner at drumming and have watched several lesson vids on YouTube and this is the first time ANYONE in any video i've watched has bothered explaining what a "Paradiddle" Pa-Ra-Did-Dle actually is, and why it's called that. I think most drummers assume everyone already knows, But if a person doesn't know the word paradiddle is used to count out the beats. an entire lesson on the subject wont make any sense to someone just getting started, and not everyone...
First you attack Daddyfunk personaly. Then you Attack my Personal Faith..which i didn't bring up...YOU did!
And now your getting Personal, saying that i have a hard on for daddyfunk. And again you get personal with daddy and call him mullet headed......etc!
Karlmarx71...you have some serious issues to resolve within yourself. You are so so judgemental. And why???....obviously because you are a very very insecure person & dislike yourself!!!
Jeeeeeeeeeeezum crow Sheila, yoyr a psychologist as well as a bible muncher. You are so right I hate myself and am about to go to hell for comitting suicide, AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaah all because i want to be daddyfunks lovechild....................happy Christmas everybody......praise to Allah.
Karlmarx71...Im not judging you the way you are passing Judgement on daddyfunk. My judgement is righteouss judgement..and bad trees do not bare good fruit! So i am well within righteousness to remind you that you shouldn't judge others!
Karlmarx71..you are the one who looked at my channel and then said to me "i respect your faith"
So why did you have to point out my Faith in your post?
What does my Faith have to do with it?
If you didnt want a quoted scriptural reply..then dont mention my Faith!
Daddyfunk...Thankyou for sharing your knowledge of drumming to the drumming community. It is very nice of you to help others, and also very Humble of you. You have much to offer. God Bless You
Let me remind you then that our Great High Priest said..."Judge Not, that You be not Judged. For with what Judgement you Judge, You Will Be Judged; And with the measure you use, it Will Be measured back to you." MATT 7:1,2
If Yamaha was one of the sponsors, I wonder how he got away with using OC Drums? I did like the video though, it was very informative and well conveyed.
Stupid people or not, although I liked this vid and exercise: you only need so much explanation, every time I expected a demo, you started explaining again and again. Kind a counterproductive. The demo however was very clear. Tnx.
Hey man, dont worry about the stupid peopple. You teach well, slow and well spoked to us. Thank a lot. I like the English talk that i can understand well. Thanks from Argentina ( Malvinas are Argentinas ) , tell that to yours POLITICS. Thanks for the lessons again.
Paradiddles are used to add the accent (R=louder than r) RlrrLrll. We use paraddles because that's the fastest way to play this pattern with accents and control. He didn't show this part, but with practice your paradiddles will get lightning fast!
I love the illiterates here with empty profiles who sit, hiding behind their computers and criticize. Learning to play something - anything - is a slow process. Anyone who actually plays appreciates that.
So...I'm not really wanting to coment on my comedy account that I havent really started yet but im too lazy to log out , but I just want you to know...you PWNED the paradiddle...like i didnt understand that beat from anyone else...maybe im stupid but i didnt know the beat sounded out paradiddle...but then again im self-taught. thanks alot man..
I'd rather think of this as just another helpful tip on the paradiddle that's slightly different from paradiddle lessons by other teachers. Pick up a tip here, a tip there. We're not paying these guys, so why moan? Unless you viewed this from a dial-up connection, then maybe...:)
I don't understand the negative comments...ok he took 6 and a half minutes to show what's basically a single paradiddle applied to the drumkit, but after all the video is addressed to the absolute beginner. The only problem of this video is that a beginner would NEVER set up the kit like that...
Sooooooo... i know my rudiments well, and i jam regular and i can talk and sing while i play and i am in a couple of bands. How do i get sponsored and nice stuff for free? Who do i need to show off for?
Thanks! The drum heads are Evans G2s on the Toms, Evans G1 Coated Batter Heads on the Snares & a Remo Power Stroke 3 on the Bass Drum. The Resonant Heads on the Bottom of the Toms are the Remo Ambassador Weatherkings that came as standard with the OCDP Custom Drums.
Ciao Dadday.....siamo 2 tuoi ammiratori....purtroppo per noi (volevamo precisare),che sei bravo almeno quanto sei stupido...brutto idiota suona sempre così!ciao
Very Nice. Love the set up!!! I tried this excercise and It flows nicely. I experimented with it by substituting kick on the fist set of diddles on the right side then the second set of diddles on the right side. Same with the left side. Then breaking up the toms on the singles (playing each single note on a different tom) then combining that with the fore mentioned foot substitutions. It was great workout. thanks for the resource!!!
