ive been in one of these simulators for a college class. i passed out pretty quickly and it feels cool when in them. passing out, you dont feel anything.
This is bad but nothing's worse than the water BUD/S (Seal training)... Good lord that was brutal I couldn't handle it 3 days into hell week. People passing out under water, twas brutal.
Seriously, I think it takes a lot of guts to handle this many G's - calling this guy a floppy chicken is unfair unless you've had a (successful) ride on the centrifuge yourself and you have something to compare to.
I did this at space camp and it was some intense shit it really makes you feel like the shit is going to come right out of your ass and your going to just flatten it is crazy and it is really not fun lol
@TacticalDude2 hahahaha..... try laying on ur bed ... with ur head hanging upside down.... then get up right away..... and u will feel dizzy now imagine that 10x ....
No it doesn't hurt. But it's hard to breathe and it's exhausting as you have to squeeze your butt, legs tight, deep breathe and hold it for 30 seconds.
I've trained for the Fra Mauro highlands... and this is FLIGHT SURGEON HORSESHIT, Deke!

All flight surgeons "fly along" with the crew, some pilots will let the flight doc take the controlls for a while (mostly in fighter planes).

good job men!!!

I think a real man would have done more than 6 G's. What happened to the floppy chicken.
littledog31 3 years ago
I probably could have gone past 6 if I had remembered to do the strain maneuver... I was too focused on breathing. No floppy chicken for me!
bbvargas 3 years ago 3
You're in the centrifuge?!!!!!
pierrelebatteur 3 years ago
The average for normal people to drop out is 4.3 G.
Volksgrenadier2006 3 years ago
@littledog31 try it yourself and you will see how those 6 G's feel your fucking moron!

@littledog31, he's a doctor, not a fighter pilot.
