Should I use my dual dragon ultimus or eternal schism for akantor? I have full rathalos soul U 80 def each. Im a hammer user but I feel im not experienced enoguh yet to hammer akantor.

Attacking the head is, as he said

VERY DANGEROUS.

I've seem loads of people use this strategy, so that is the safest way. And I wouldn't get pissed off by the fact he died. Akantor can own if your not careful, as can any wyvern.

godblessjackie..to unlock akantor..u must be HR6..do the this quest..the fierce black horn(black blos),black rock in the swamp(black gravios),blue sky pink earth(azure los and pink ian)then the silver rathalos and gold rathian..then u will have a urgent quest(gao ren)..u must kill it and then got another urgent which is akantor..me and my bro is trying to kill that guy now..GUD luck^^

also another good tip is to when he falls is to demonize his back alot to break it so u can aka spike in reward, used in making aka bow, really good bow

can i offer some advice. dont go for the hind legs if u attack its right front leg u can avoid all ita attacks easily apart from the dig and eruptions. its easy to see all his attacks coming from there.

when he does the shoot or dig rocks up in air move his front paw will hit you and do a tiny damage, not much but it really builds up, also back legs are closer to tail and they fall easier and more

Get crimson lotus blades, they're the easiest good dual swords to get. I prefer them to all other dual sowrds because they look teh coolest (I'm shallow like that lol)

yes it is possible to kill red fata with those bows, since i have done it ( i can make a guide if you wish)
