This is why it probably has a robot because robots kind of look like us just metal,easter island head- it looks like us just bigger and bigger ears and face,jack in the box is because it s jack looks like us but not the box. again this is my thoery im not really sure.

i think it adds to the story that the chimera arent exactly the brightest when it comes to common sense.i am curious that it means that they arent quite sure what humans look like and act like and feel like. thats my theory that insomniac added them for that reason.
