@Rebsten Actually, all Frostmourne does is imprison your soul. However, all the souls were freed when Tirion Fordring breaks Frosmourne, and they help kill Arthas by making him completely helpless, while everyone else dishes out damage to him. :)

More study is needed, you when King Varian was held by the horde as captive and made to fight as a Gladiator, Hellscreams daughter had a thing for Varian and had a son by him. When Hellscream found out him tried to kill the boy by throwing him into the river not knowing that Fordring, by happenstance saw what happened and rescued the child. The Fordring took the child into hiding and had him raised as a Paladins. J. Proudmore knows more than you do though. Guess what happens next.

Yup, After the cinematic the dragons say that the alliance shouldn't know about Bolvar's fate. Also, when you raid Yogg-Saron you hear Bolvar being tortured by the Lich King, the lich king says "I will break you like I broke him." Him- Saurfang, the orc that died at the Wrathgate and is now a boss in ICC. Bolvar will be a boss in ICC soon enough :>

@lukaa9 It's not really confirmed and in the WoW files you can find the model of a very burnt human called "lavaman". Many assume that this is Tiron Fordring who have been severely tortured. He is not a Dk though, but probably fights for the scourge.

It's retarded why not do this?When the Icecrown raid comes out bring saurfang and bolvar as death knight's than...............have you fight them both and instead ofkilling them they become a part of the ebon blade or just have them return as NPC's in Org and SW becasue they were probably the coolest NPC's in the entire game.....besides tirion lol

Actually yes Arthas does have Bolvar and Saurfang's son with him, or did you not understand what Alexstrasza said, "They must not discover the fate of the young paladin. Not yet.", and yes she did say this, albeit in Draconic so unless you were able to translate that it would not appear, yet that is what she said.

When you fight Yogg-Saron, you see his spirit being tortured by Arthas, who says "I will break you as I broke him." referring to Saurfang who was broken.

Also, after that event, Krasus and Alex talk in Draconic, and if you can decipher it, they say "The Alliance must not know the fate of the Paladin" "Yes my queen."

Yes, but it was incredibly foolish. Bolvar, if he even died, who knows with WoW, at least died a normal death.

Unfortunately for Saurfang, Frostmourne devoured his soul. If any of Frostmourne's original lore stands, anyone killed by the blade itself forever loses their soul into some hellish nightmare.

But who knows? He's a fucking Saurfang.

Actually, Saurfang is in fact not in Arthas' blade, he cleaved Arthas to oblivion so fast nobody could see it, he's currently invisible to all sleeping away from the mighty cleave. ( Also, it's rumored that Arthas is making Bolvar into a DK, they're both screwed. )

Ah yes, I heard / assumed that would be the case with Bolvar.

However, the difference is, while Bolvar may be a DK, we have seen DKs break free / be killed and redeemed.

But when Frostmourne destroys your soul for all eternity... well, there isn't any fixing that. Saurfang the Younger is gone forever.

saurfang would but not bolvar. The lich king did not take bolvar's soul and the red dragon flight burned all the alliance and horde buddies so the scourage can't add to their armies.

The "what the hell" when the first Plague bomb exploded was great, then all the guys saying they were down when the first explosion in the foreground came... and Bolvar was backing up going "it's not my fault ;_;" and Arthas ran back into the gate and everybody's finishing up being pissy.

I dunno, I enjoyed this decently.
