  • An extraordinary recording! I've actually heard it live once, and this reminds me very much of that performance. Thanks for putting it up!

  • Thank you!

  • buttload

  • Does anyone happen to know where I could find the recording of Carissimi's "Cosi Volete"?

  • @AurolaGerero your arss

  • hanno fretta di finire?? forse avevano anche un altro concerto...

  • @Praenestinus hai ragione - too rushed!

  • @Praenestinus Fretta? No mi pare a me.

  • You are awesome for posting music along with sheet music. It's really helping for my music history test. Stereo quality too! Thanks so much!

  • Sang this for my high school choir..I missed it and had to sing along. haha Beautiful song.

    Thanks for the great video!

  • Musica divina cum erat Schützis musica.

  • Melior ista quam Aenrici Sagittari musica, nonne putas?

  • Non est mihi certus... nescio igitur. Sed lamentamini... spirituosissima conpositio est.

  • Inpii quorum ego sum partim pars et partim Mars... something that sounds cool... I made it up now...

  • Sum quoque usurpator jutjubiensis MaBu888, si velis scire.

  • Predivno, nemam reči. Već godinama sakupljam Karisimijevu muziku, i nikad mi nije dosta...

Thank you so much for this delightful performance.

  • so beautiful..

  • Superb, thank you so much! The quality is amazing.

  • The story of a man killing his daughter "for God" is not indeed edifying. But the music by Carissimi is really valuable, and the performance is fine. We should also thank you for letting us see the score while we listen to it.

"Real art is one of the most powerful forces in the rise of mankind, and he who renders it accessible to as many people as possible is a benefactor of humanity" (Kodály, 1954).

  • Mihi quoque non ediicetur.

  • i've never heard about this choral, but it's gorgeous!!!! loved it!!! specially the bass...

  • Divine music! 5 stars.
