posted a link to this video on my Facebook account. It loads multiple times. I deleted it multiple times but it keeps re-appearing multiple times. Is there a virus in the video??
Man, she sings strong! Puts teeth in a song that is so often sung sad and slow. Next to Ron himself, I think this is my favorite version, maybe even surpassing Christy Moore...and that's saying alot!
strong version of this beautiful song. this is my introduction to this group. i will be investigating more of their material. the lead reminds me of someone....i can't put my finger on it. thank you very much for posting this.
Anyone know the name of lead singer or group - fantastic. I can't find anything on this group under Spinning Wheel on the internet.

I first heard this, what--25 years ago?--by Jean Redpath, on "A Prairie Home Companion." I never, ever forgot it...

I think this is the Back In Black of Newfoundland & Labrador. It is one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard.

great rendition of Ron Hynes song. Good on you all for your magical voices. Strong female voice to carry the main tune with her band. Loved it!
