I like it, but in my school they were much louder. Sarah had a very sing voice while singing and Sky had a mildly low voice.

"expected?" sure, they could be slowed down a bit, but i think they do a good job of keeping the balance between keeping the audiences attention and keeping it natural (after all, this show can be pretty boring at times.)

haha everyone here is saying "i just got the part of sky" well i did too. well no one will tell me what the heck a throng is. we just rehersed this blocked this scene a few rehersals ago. they are rushing. i hope i can do good. wish me luck.

ok so... I live in Sarasota, Florida and I just got the part of Sky Masterson, and in fact we just had rehearsal for this particular scene. Well they both sounded great but their acting was not impressive. There is just no chemistry between them, and they fly through the scene. Sky is too hasty and direct, he is suppose to be mysterious and sarcastic but he is not. Sarah is too hasty as well.. but great voices, i give ypu that.

You might want to google it by the title. But if you can't find the part on line to download, you might want to visit or call the nearest college library, or of arts and music conservatorys or school that has a dramaturgy program and they might be able to help you in one way or another. You might be able to photocopy the part. Drama couses would help, that is IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT. Now, go for it, and GOOD LUCK!

Yah, it must be quite an accomplishment on his part through all these rehearsan knowing that slap was coming and having to go on playing the part. And FOR HER knowing she has to do it; I would have felt REAL BAD about it. I hope it's not a hard slap. You know the noise could have been reproduced behind stage, also hard to syncronize.

What a voice! It's PERFECT. And to the people she is suppose to be a little unopened in this scene. Would you be totally open to a person you never met...? Be realistic. This is GREAT acting. It is in depth into the character rather than just reading....

I agree the girl isnt very good acting. She is just walking around stage. Her arms crossed? Terrible Body Language not just poor stage directions. Nice voice. A bit shrill in parts.

This is great - the standard is really good and there are voices there which any musical society would be pleased to have. I am from the UK and I have been to some of our local amateur productions which would not meet this standard! Keep it up!

thank you. I was actually really nervous about getting this part because I had never played a serious role before. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, because this part requires it. I realize after watching myself that I didnt do a real good job of that. What sets Sarah apart from all of the other characters is her mystery. Create a background story and that should help you, it will make your part more interesting as well.
