Aku was created when a massive blob of evil energy floated through space and was trying to consume the universe when the 3 gods fought and beat it, but making it explode into peices. Most of the blobs fell on earth where it tried to eat the land before Jacks father took a green burning arrow and fired it into the center of the black engery. Ironically the arrow gave the darkness a personality and mind, creating Aku. Through the battle involving the sword Aku was sealed in a tree.

well no there is a video somehwere here on youtube its liek a clip form the orgin of evil, and it shows tht the "dead trees" came when peice of a evil god came down to earth when the good gods were fighting it and then jacks father hit it a pool of the black liquid and it cam up looking lik a tree but thnks to prob the fire it was alive and aku ....wow tht was mmouthful i miss tht show it went off when i was like 10(like 6 years ago)

@Fox5975 No he is the remain piece of evil energy itself. In the beginning universe pure black evil energy emerged and was destroyed by three vicious Gods. One tiny piece survived the attack and felt on earth. Aku was born out of that black energy. He is some kind of a indestructable superpowerfull demon.

Aku has some weird tricks up his "sleeves". i mean absorbing those arrows and firing them from his hands like Goku's kamehameha wave.

Jack never owns Aku , did you watched the series? Aku is very powerfull it takes jack a lifetime to become strong and wise enough to defeat Aku. Aku is evil itself. In the fight against the time portal guardian it is revealed that Jack one day kills Aku but that will happen decades later. Aku cannot be owned by any mortal being. Jacks skill in combination with the sword make him dangerous to Aku but even then its a lifetime struggle.
