  • I was a big Dale fan, way back in the Seventies,,, great

talent, and show'd it right off from the beginning.... You

had to look to fine it in the beginning, but it was there..

More importantly, he was a great human being, learning,

all the time, but had a great heart for this fellow man...

  • Ego speak. Dale just HAD to mention HIS being 7-time champ while saying something good about another driver. XD

  • What was really strange is how dale earnhardt sr was talkinga bout that and now he is dead

  • @ILIGANO Fucking redneck piece of shit.

  • If Davey Allison had lived, we'd be remembering him today as one of the great drivers in the sport's history. He was just reaching his prime when he was killed. Such a shame.

  • davey was my favorite.

  • KEEP ON RACIN' ALABAMA GANG!

  • 2 of my favorites!! Davey will always be my #1 and Dale my #2!! Now both are still racin together! Thanks for the clip!

  • Money has corrupted the so-called sport of NASCAR.. Id rather watch a monkey fuck a foot ball

  • @nctrooper10722001 lol nice Days of Thunder reference

  • RIP Davey and Dale

  • Davey and Tim Richmond both would have been champions, so Dale would have won even less.

  • @TyVulpine Tim Richmond was busy taking it up the butt.

  • @txlastrebel Do you have something against gay people, you bigot?

  • @TyVulpine No I do not. I was just making sure y,all knew. You called me a faggot seems like you're the one with a problem. Queer.

  • @txlastrebel Unlike you, I have no problem with gays and lesbians. What they do is no concern of mine.

  • @txlastrebel Tim Richmond liked hookers and loose women.

  • @racefan32 Who doesnt?

  • @TyVulpine thats not true. davey allison and tim richmond were damn good racers but were nothing compared to earnhardt

  • @Mr420woo I never said they weren't. I firmly believe that if Davey and Tim didn't die, they would have won multiple Cups.

  • @TyVulpine YES COULD BE TRUE DAVEY WAS MY FAVORITE BUT ALSO ALAN WAS GONE AND YOUNG ROBBY BOTH AWESOME AS WELL REALLY ERY SAD FOR THE MEN AND THE FAMILYS ANDTHE SPORT #28,25,7,99,3 WHAT A RACE THEY MUST B HAVING

  • @Mr420woo Im a huge dale sr fan, and I dont know about that. davey beat dale a lot and dale beat davey a lot, but even dale said that tim was one hell of a driver.

  • sucks, davey was my FAV driver!! then after dale died, i havent watched nascar, not the same without either one of those 2 RIP davey & dale

  • It's no wonder NASCAR is in the shape its in today when you think of the absolute giants in the sport that passed away in a short amount of time. It would be like the Steelers, Cowboys, Patriots and Packers all folding in the NFL.

  • @McCall72

Well said! Minus the Patriots, though... : )

  • The loss of Earnhardt is still be felt today. It still hurts to think about it.

  • and everytime you hear the word daytona, all you think about is earnhardt

  • I was never an Earnhart fan but Dale sure showed alot of class in that interview.

  • i agree. i never liked earnhart. thought he was a thug, but i do admit he made racing a lot more interesting. but davey was my favorite. both of them was a loss.

  • @Bcroft39 you broke probably broke a record for most ratings

  • Well I wasn't looking to do that, but he did show a lot of class in the interview.

  • @Bcroft39 i hope u get to see the whole interview. i hated ironhead back in the day. but after i found out who he was. i learned to respect dale. he was a working mans man. super classy and humble. just ruthless as hell in a race car. but then again, i understand because that was his job which he took very seriously. i sure miss him now..

  • If these great drivers didn't die, Kyle Busch wouldn't have of won of all these races, but the cars would be deadly. Jeff gordon would of died in the 06' Pocono race if it wasn't for all the safety.

  • Losing Davey, Alan and Neil so close together was rough.

  • @3bar yeah it was, no doubt, I was REALLY upset when Davey Allison died, I was 13, it was a shock to say the least.

  • The 90's would have been great for racing with guy slike dale earnhart, mark martin, rusty wallace, alan kulwicki, davey allison and ernie irvan. All great drivers

  • yeah tell me about it, there are'nt any drivers like that anymore

  • I was a big time Davey Allison fan, and was sad when he died. I was also shocked and sad when Dale Earnhardt died. They were both great.

  • Man, the 90's would have been spectacular with Allison, Gordon, and Earnhardt fighting for titles.

  • RIP DALE SR, DAVEY ALLISON, and EVERYOTHER DRIVER that as passed away. The sport and fans miss you.

  • TIM RICHMOND was best pure talent ever!

  • :( I bet Davey beat him in quite a few races at the track in Heaven now :( May they both RIP.

  • Nah, everyone wins on the track of gold :). "Where we win every race and there is no second place, and were driving on tracks of gold"

  • Tim Richmond was the best I ever saw race in nascar

  • imagine where gordon's career would be if alan and davey were still racin through atleast the late 90's. He probally wouldn't of been able to get all those wins.

  • Davey and Alan Kulwicki were both big losses. Not to mention some of the really great short trackers we have lost throughout the years like Trickle and Clark.

  • Not to mention Tim Richmond. Another loss that could nave changed the outlook of nascar forever.

  • Agreed. Davey Allison was one of the top Ford drivers at the time and we really coming up. No doubt he would have been champion

  • spoken like a true champion and he's right about davie...man if he didnt get in that helicopter the whole complection of nascar would have changed

  • i hear ya man.alot of the greatest drivers were in nascar and watchin these videos with dale just remind me of how nascar isnt the same anymore

  • "nascar isnt the same anymore"

    you are so right SCryder,

nascar has lost all of it's character. BY CHOICE. i've given up the devotion that was there for many years. my first daytona 500 was 1963. i was 10 months old. don't remember much about that one. But big money has ruined the sport.

  • Yes a true champion, I miss these guys

  • I still have 3 of his shirts.

  • While I do not disagree with you... consider this;

Had Allison not been in the helicopter... he would have been in the 28 at Michigan, instead of Ernie Irvan. Allison just as easily could have lost his life there.

Allison was my favorite driver, I strongly believe he would have been a champion many times over.

  • he could have easily lost his life anywhere. a lot of them took that chance, but things happen

  • yeah he could have been in the car at michigan but if he was in the car the michigan crash probably wouldnt have happened
