Can't quite explain it but this version has an empowering effect. Sort of like it's not attempting to lie or sugar-coat a terrible, depressing, or otherwise awful situation, yet at the same time, also makes clear and helps one stay empowered in those kinds of situations. That is, not being helpless to crap (to be blunt).

Anyway, that's my opinion on the tone of the song. This was a good remix that was done in the game.

@RileyOcelot I DL'd this on my xbox, but what started the series off for me was Aria of Sorrow. I loved that game, but I liked the 2nd playthrough more, using Julius. The game itself is fun as Soma, but for some reason, unless I use some form of whiplike weapon... It doesn't feel quite right.

According to his log, Maria could be hacked to be made playable, but he wants to finish the game first.
