  • More cops that don't understand the law.

  • That cop was a bad ass didn't take any shit from you, and look he was right, people like you fucked it up for individuals that did it respectfully

  • "im not searching" im patting you down

  • have you open carry in 2012

  • what kind of criminal is going to open carry his weapons?

  • @9408994041 a criminal carrying would pull his gun out at some point prior to his physical act, right? So how does one distinguish the difference between a fool "open carrying" for what he claims is "educational purposes" and a fool preparing to commit a violent act?

  • @whosyom0mmy so a person exercising their constitutional rights are fools?, whether it be their 2nd or 1st amendment rights? A criminal wouldn't necessarily have their weapons slung across their backs or holstered on their hips, to not draw the attention of the police.

  • Part 2 blocked as private.

  • 13 cops watched this video

  • Where's part 2 I wanna see

  • Lol.Fuck.the police

  • how can he turn off your recording device can he do that

  • 2nd amendment a threat to police safety... WHAT THE FUCK!?!?! FUCKING NAZI PIGS

  • they should have shot you

  • It is a restraints however slight, on another's liberty to come and go. Turney v. Rhodes, 42 Ga.App. 104, 155 S.E. 112. It is the taking, seizing or detaining the person of another, touching or putting hands upon him in the execution of process, or any act indicating an intention to arrest. U. S. v. Benner, (Blacks Law 4th Ed, Pg 140)

  • ARREST: To deprive a person of his liberty by legal authority. Taking, under real or assumed authority, custody of another for the purpose of holding or detaining him to answer a criminal charge or civil demand. Physical seizure of person by arresting officer or submission to officer's authority and control is necessary to constitute an "arrest." Thompson v. Boston Pub. Co., Thompson v. Boston Pub. Co., 285 Mass. 344, 189 N.E. 210, 213.

  • DETAIN: To retain as the possession of personalty. First Nat. Bank v. Yocom, 96 Or. 438, 189 P. 220, 221. To arrest, to check, to delay, to hinder, to hold, or keep in custody, to retard, to re strain from proceeding, to stay, to stop. People v. Smith, 17 Cal.App.2d 468, 62 P.2d 436, 438. (Blacks Law 4th Ed, Pg 535)

  • Wow, what a bunch of jerks I think the ones who need to have their guns taken away are those overly aggressive "officers."

  • U should file a lawsuit on those pieces of scum...they completely did everything wrong...they ignored and abused ur rights...

  • Stopping your video camera violates 1st Amendment Free Press rights.

Did you go speak at city council?

Did you file complaint at county grand jury? Note, if you file a GJ complaint, then cops with warrants will raid your home and seize cameras, computer, hard drives, external drives, thumb drives, floppy disks, CD-ROMS, etc.

  • Cops will classify you as either "FRIENDLY TO LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS" OR "HOSTILE".

IT IS MOST PRUDENT TO BE FRIENDLY.

If you are prior military, be courteous, friendly, show your military/reserves ID.

  • Upland has the worst police department, I try to avoid driving there.

  • @kenny1309 I'm just curious.... Is there any particular reason you should be worried about being pulled over?

There's been times when I've driven illegally, admittingly , and would avoid driving ANYWHERE and as little as possible.

  • @whosyom0mmy

    Yes, tinted windows.

    That's it :)

No drugs, or weapons in the vehicle.

Everytime I'm in Upland I see at least one traffic stop being conducted.

EVERYTIME! Espically traffic officers with their radars.

Is the city broke? I heard the Mayor's office and home were raided by the FBI not too long ago, and something about the police chief having to step down.

Too much corruption in that city.

  • @kenny1309 Why can't you appreciate that? What you're saying is that the Upland Police are vigilant in securing the safety in their City. It could be worse, ya know. UUUhmmm tinted windows?? "That's it"? lol So, who's to blame if YOU do get pulled over? Upland didn't enact that law! As far as the Mayor, Chief and corruption goes, I don't know shit! ...but my advise is to believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see. God bless you!

  • @whosyom0mmy

I don't know if you read, the SGT in the video was accused of stalking/harassment while ON DUTY!

Appreciate harassment? No thank you. When a city is broke they do everything in their power to generate revenue, Upland does so with traffic tickets.

    I don't hate cops, I love my city's force... I just hate Upland's :)

Typical Upland Resident, uniformed and nosy.

    Whos yo mommy? Really? LoL

A grown ass woman with that kind of username? The good days are over.

    God bless YOU, skank:)

  • @whosyom0mmy

    LoL!

  • @whosyom0mmy *advice

  • Stupid cops!!

  • To whom it may concern,

Please note that I, Trisha Vincent(Martinez), do not consent or approve of any content posted herein. Furthermore, I am EXTREMELY offended by the notion of such a ridiculous comparison. Exploiting any victim of a civil case to further or attempt to strengthen a pathetic cause is harassment, to say the least. (comment continued)

  • Sergeant Belt and Officer Duran should only be recognized here, as the evidence shows, for doing what every citizen would hope for when they see people walking around in public with guns in plain view. (comment continued)

  • OH damn. Were did all the comments go after I posted that link about Sgt. Berry Belt's/Upland PD's law suit?

  • send the pigs to jail

  • Well, the cops could've done this better. However, I believe the Marine is an embarrassment to the Corps. He sounds like a whiny child. He is trying to instigate an incident with the cops. Had he complied with the lawful inspection of his firearm, well... it might not have gotten this way. But ultimately, and unfortunately, the cops gave him what he was looking for - a lawsuit. Keep going open carriers. It's only time before this right is taken from you because of your own behavior.

  • Police hate Americans for our Freedom. If Americans exercised the Second Amendment, parasitic police would start showing respect instead of acting like power tripping punks.

  • Cops sending a message loud and clear..."if you exercise your rights, we will abuse you.." Our message back is "keep it up and you will be lucky to only lose your job, numbnuts..."

I beg you guys to have at least 2 guys with rifles backing you up to deal with these rogue types. How about if they had proceeded to execute you while you were on your knees? No sniper back up= no chance to survive rogue cops assassinating you.

  • Come to Rialto and open carry. LOL

  • @rpd93f70 I do, I ate at Corky's this past Wednesday with no issues while OC. Does Rialto PD have a problem with me exercising my constitutional rights. I'm not trying to cause problems or stir up trouble, just protecting myself and my family. Could you please clarify your statement, because it sounds somewhat like a threat to me. If you are in fact an officer with Rialto PD maybe we could set up a meeting on the issue to alleviate any potential problems that could arise due to ignorance.

  • They think their still working for Pomerski

  • @hacopian5900 You're right. But it's the split-second decisions that make case law in this country. Not because of people like you who want to express yourself and put it on blast, but because of the real criminals out there that rob, kill, injure, and harass. If your biggest complaint is that these officers took your gun, took your ID, and ran your name and serial number then gave the gun and ID back, seems like you have a pretty good life.

  • @icatchum530 If your biggest complaint is they violated three of your constitutional rights. Whats the big deal then man? Dont you know your supposed to expect them to do that? I mean rights are so overated. they were Written over a two hundred and thirty years ago there outdated. So dont get so bent out of shape if officers like these and catchum530 were ever he is an officer at, violates them. By the way, anyone reading, hope you caught Im being sarcastic to the comment catchum530 just posted.

  • @narstful Twist it how you want Nar. That seems to be what people try to do when they dont get their way with the police....If I was the officer that stopped that guy I would have handled it the right way. I do not condone, nor do I violate the rights of the people. Your sarcasm is noted and I can understand the small-minded person would take my post in that manner, however looking at your past comments, you are not a small minded individual. They could have been much worse.

  • @icatchum530 Look its simple. Sure it could of been worse. But it should never be brushed aside or thought of lightly when officers do this to law abiding citizens. Officers are sworn public servants that swear to uphold the constitution, And when they dont and they violate it, they need to be held accountable. Yes there job is hard, yes its dangerous, stressful and so on....But please dont use those things as an excuse to do this. And I dont mean that personaly towards you, but to all police.

  • @icatchum530 Your name betrays you, I wish it read "ihelpum", which is what cops are supposed to do. Your focus seems to be solely on catchin um. With all due respect it sounds like you could use a refresher course on the first paragraph of the oath you took to become an officer. Not that the other paragraphs are less important I just thought you could start there and see where it takes you. Oh and violating constitutional rights is a big deal.

  • Attached to this article is part 1 of a two part video posted on YouTube which captured the incident on video. At one point in the video, officer Duran turns off the plaintiff's video. Officer Duran stated that he was recording the encounter. Officer Duran's recording of the encounter has reportedly been destroyed

    from Examiner.com

  • It's not MY hypocrisy, it's other folks. I never once indicated Duran should be prosecuted without due process. But that's irrelevant as he's protected from civil and citizen criminal prosecution. I do feel he should re-evaluate the methods he utilizes in the conduct of his performance. Please don't put 'words in my mouth' or attribute what others have said just because I disagree with you. Based on this evidence I feel as if Duran's actions were unwarranted. That's all.

  • wow you see them with guns you see us here LOL so glad the chief called to apologize

  • Duran was extremely out of line 2amendment100, how can you possibly defend him and still feel as if you're 'educating' anyone. I do suspect you are a mole and/or possibly Duran himself. The instigators were clearly the LEO's. OC'ers were calm and polite up to the point of the LEO's violating their rights. Unfortunately for citizens we have zero 'present moment" ability to enforce the law. Last time I checked, the laws were 'by the people' for the people. Thus LEO's have a greater responsibility.

  • What I failed to mention is these OC'ers we're QUITE respectful and cooperative up until the point of illegal detainment...and then beyond that...while their attitude may not assist their cause was still LEGAL. These officers were ignorant and acting completely incorrectly. There was ZERO probable cause for detainment, but obviously cause for 12031e check. Probable cause does not equal guilt. It equals suspicion that some guilt MAY have taken place. It's up for a jury to decide.

  • Unloaded gun is an infringement on the second ammenment is it not?(think)

I should be able to carry without limits.

Next time one video records and the other Open Carries (think)

Also if you talk too much we wont hear the Officers incriminate themselves by lying.(think)

I believe the Officers were using wrong procedures in acquiring the status of public safety.(think)

There are better operative manuvers to examine the safety of the public than to confront someone carrying a gun.(think)

  • You know what I'd like to see, more of these videos where the OC guys are respectful and polite. You'd get your point across, and achieve your goals a bit better. "I DONT CONSENT TO ANY SEARCHES" = whiner boo hoo. "Officer, I know the law permits you to check my weapon for loaded status only, and I will comply to that, but I do not consent to further search." Try that, in a calm, pleasant tone of voice. You'll get what you're after in the long run. Good luck OC'ers I do support you, and LEO's.

  • @oufofmemory How about this. Call ahead and tell the cops what you're doing. You'll have no problems at all.

  • @2amendment100 What, a citizen calling a LEO to let them know they'll be following the law? Don't assume that my view of these OC'ers being agitating makes the LEO's in any way less of violation of the law. These individuals were illegally detained from MOMENT ONE. Store exit..."Gentlemen, good morning, I am Officer Duran I'll be performing a 12031e check." Just dressing like a cop doesn't mean you've identified yourself. And hands up, turn around is detainment, not courtesy.

  • This was an amazing display by both parties. The cameraman in this episode of "who can insult the biggest" was wrong by talking over the officer. The officer was wrong for engaging in such frivolous, non-productive banter with the OC guy. 2A is an amazing thing we should all appreciate. One of these days another "war vet" who is in predict may see your OC gun and lose it....if he is armed I pray you ar not the victim of his 2A rights. And I hope you don't need a cop to help you when do get shot

  • @icatchum530 Your logic , well, not logic is false. The 2nd amendment doesn't allow for war vets to lose it and shoot others. Where are you a cop at?

  • @hapkidoglock I used an example, not an all-encompassing example. I think some of the posters here are well educated our their rights. My posts are not here to start fights, but to expand minds: just as the OC movement is trying to do. This incident could have been handled better, and as I wrote earlier, Officer Duran should not have wasted his energy arguing with the cameraman. It goes no where. I am an officer at a department close to Upland, but I do not know any of the involved officers

  • @icatchum530 Speak for yourself... was NOT amazed one bit!!! I do agree with the fact that displays such as these create more victims than heroes.

  • LOL What a bunch of pretenders!

  • I live in Berdo an as much as I would love to Open carry to many schools here so 1k zone law would be broke & LEO's shoot first ask Questions later most the time. IMO If your not one of them then your a threat. Yes I know they put their lifes on the line but if you fear death then find another job. You take the job with all the perks & risk that go along with it. Respect to all the LEO that don't abuse the badge or Power trip. As for the Business owners I hope you feel safer now!!!!!

  • @2amendment100

You say you own a business right by were this all went down, and your a 2A supporter?? When the store in video along with Jewlery store you mentioned. Was getting robbed!! were where you at the time it happened? 1.Hiding praying they don't hit your business next. 2. Getting your fire arm & getting ready to give any would be robber hot lead. 3. Calling upland PD knowing that's your only protection? <--Ya that was wrote sarcastically in case your wondering :P

  • Here in arizona, I was open carrying at the light rail station after the fireworks show. A cop asked me, "is that real" I said yes, and then walked on, ignoring him. He had no reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime, he couldn't do shit. Legally, I wasnt required to answer. But out of the least respect I could have given him, I answered his question, and then boarded the train when it arrived. We still have our rights here. CA, you are a sad, pathetic state.

  • Every single one of the pigs in this video should be fired!

  • @BayAreaOpenCarry Yeah you're right because we wouldn't dare want to provide these cops with any Constitutional rights such as there 5th or 6th Amend right, or their 14th Amend rights. That would just be unthinkable. The OC jerks are the only people that are allowed to assert any Constitutional rights in this country. We wouldn't dare want to complete a thorough investigation and look at any and all evidence to determine what happened. Just string 'em up. Screw their rights.

  • @BayAreaOpenCarry I agree with you. We should just convict them on the spot, no investigation, no review of the facts of the matter, nothing, just convict them on your say so. Works for me. NOT. You people are such hypocrites. You want your rights but screw the Constitution when you say so because you hate cops. You're an effen ass hat and so are your people. You have no concept of what the Constitution means and you just proved it.

  • @2amendment100 "This is an officer safety issue" Tell me where in the law it indicates that citizens must make officers feel safe. It's supposed to be the other way around. We have to take the brunt of making an officer feel unsafe, that's still NOT illegal. Officers responding in FEAR shouldn't be officers. Past events does NOT equal present guilt, or suspicion. Please share a valid view point if you wish to continue this topic of discussion 2amendment100.

  • @2amendment100 And 2amendment100 if you ARE Duran, or associated with Duran I'd recommend you stop commenting. He already dug his grave through his actions and you're NOT helping him. Up to now I wasn't going to contact the Upland PD on this issue (as poor as it was) but I'm seriously reconsidering after reading your comments 2amendment100 (who I suspect is Duran). Duran should clearly re-investigate "case law", as he's the one responsible for enforcing it. Not the "knuckleheads".

  • @oufofmemory Well, I'm not Duran, but I am a citizen that feels the need to point out your hypocrisy. I have no control over you and I have no control over the cop but if you're going to assert rights given by the Constitution, apply those same assertions to those you disagree with. Do they not have rights? People are demanding he be fired without any due process. Due process is a big part of the Bill of Rights, No? or are your rights the only ones that matter?

  • @2amendment100 Nor did I assert any 'rights' (though I'm using the 1st atm, ala criticizing my government). As officer Duran is theoretically 'above the law' (as prosecution methods are limited), he should act above the law. Duran was out of line, disrespectful and unprofessional. Nothing more. He should be sat down with his superiors for a discussion on his performance. He didn't 'break any laws' though I FEEL as if the detainment was poorly handled.

  • @2amendment100 And if you are operating a business it is my sincerest hope that an OC'er is nearby if your business were ever to be robbed. But chances are that would never happen with OC'ers around. Despite popular belief, criminals aren't looking to fail in their endeavors. An armed citizenship is a much more prevalent deterrent than 8 minute response time LEO's (no disrespect officers, you guys can't be every where at once)...but guess who CAN be? Hrm...armed citizens? That would never work!

  • @BayAreaOpenCarry A severe ass stomping requiring a 4 weeks in traction is in order. The sarge has been getting away with tormenting a female and child for over 5 years. The fat bastard who spent 2 years in the rear with the gear only got on through the magic of affirmative action and should be fragged.

  • I feel they handled the situation very well. All the people who hate on these guys for standing up for themselves are a diluted panty waists.

  • Sure are a lot of backseat drivers in here.

  • extremely bad way to handle the situation by the camera guy, you FAILED, the officer gave you a chance to have a discussion & you totally blew it, yeah, the cops were wrong as well.

  • @sjmadera

Congratulation Marine. I never called my self a combat vet, but officer Duran did. I think you got confused. Go ahead a get a Flesh Eating Bacteria and stuff Anti-Biotics down your face twice a day. If you have a problem with my disability rating call your senator.

  • @hacopian5900 - Hey Chris, that guy was a mole, probably for the Upland PD, he deleted his account.

  • @cheeple The rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated.

  • @hacopian5900 Thank you for your service. I don't care for what reason a 'vet' was in the military, the fact that they join knowing full well it's a potential death sentence is a amazing thing. This is also why I support LEO's, provided they follow the law as well. I respect their rights as much as the OC'ers. Which is why this country is amazing. But when a LEO breaks the law, the equality is not equal. A citizen cannot arrest an officer. Winner = military (vet, ex, or otherwise).

  • @sjmadera

You are a complete jackass. Apologize to this gentleman, go get an education about the Constitution of this land the rights all humans are born with. Or not. Just know that if you condone this treatment and engage in it yourself you will find yourself on the wrong side of what is right and just. Your comments have already disgraced you and the corps. If you do not make the correction you will have committed dishonor that is unforgivable and should take your own life - or someone will.

  • @2amendment100 - YOU ARE MOLE you created a youtube account on 7/15 and there's no picture of you or any info, you have no history and it's obvious you are supporting the police POV . I think your a cop or maybe even an officer duran supporter. Why don't you just be honest. Your a mole, you made up the name 2amendment to try and give yourself some legitimacy among us Constitutionlists. How fucking transparent you are!

  • @cheeple Why is it that people that disagree with you must be MOLES? or RATS? or SNITCHES? Those are terms used by conspiracy theorists and the criminal mindset. I hear those terms all the times used by those people on COPS, you know, the one's that are in the back seat of the police cars. They are the same as these two open carry doofs, because they are doing something wrong and have no moral high ground.

  • @2amendment100 If these doofs were doing something wrong then why did'nt they go away in cop cars you freakin idiot. You dont see it on cops. you see it all the time on duty cause you are a cop. Obviously one that loves to abuse his power and rape citizens rights like your patrol buddy officer duran. You should resighn from UPD. And duran should get fired!

  • "You don't need to consent to search." Damn straight he doesn't need to consent. And you don't need to do the e-check, and when you do the e-check you don't need to be a fucking idiot cop.

  • The store was robbed a while back they said. All the more reason to be able to open carry to stop potential crime. A thief will not rob a store if there's citizens there with guns openly displayed. They will run away as soon see the guns because they don't want to risk a shootout. The reason they think they can get away with it is because they expect to be the only ones with guns. An open carry citizen can respond to help their fellow man within seconds. Minutes faster than cops. Lives saved.

  • @Mazer0600 If it's so right then why not make a phone call to the local cops? That would have defused this whole issue, but then that wouldn't make for a good youtube video would it? This was nothing more than a setup to try to get the cops into a no win situation.

  • @2amendment100 OH yea sure. just call up every city pd you go through every day to give em a heads up. thats a crock of crap. And if you believe it was a setup then the police if they did there job the way they were supposed to would'nt of taken the bait.

  • @2amendment100 Or better yet, every LEO should call every citizen to tell them that they're breaking the law. Your view is in error. A citizen has every right to follow the law (and break the law, provided they're willing to face the consequences). You advocate that people should 'call ahead" to get permission?!?! That sir, is a police state. If LEO's have a problem with the law, let them write their politicians, just like citizens have to do to get illegal laws changed.

  • @2amendment100 naw, it's a win situation! Defendants in the law suit will prevail and hopefully set an example by counter suing Gibbs & Hacopian for such blatant harassment and ordered to pay Attorney's fees for frivolous suit. Get an injunction against them and guess what then??? ...yep, along with the TRO they will be prohibited from carrying firearms. That should be all too familiar for Chris, huh? WIN WIN! BTW, in one of these comments, Chris ADMITTED guilt/liability of harassing the LEO'S.

  • please get a hold of a lawyer and show the Upland PD that they can't do as they wish. you were completely violated and they need to learn how to be a good LEO.

  • "Record it all you want" 15 seconds later, click.

  • Send emails to Police Chief Jeff Mendenhall at jmendenhall@uplandpd.org and also call (909) 946-7624, when you call they will forward you to somebody they call the "watch commander"? Officer Durant was WAY OUT OF LINE!

  • Cops =GESTAPO

  • Allright who will join me, I've called and e-mailed the Upland PD Police Chief Jeff Mendenhall and filed a formal complaint against Officer Duran for performing an illegal search and seizure, and for just being an Asshole. WHO WILL STEP FORWARD AND JOIN ME.

    jmendenhall@uplandpd.org and also call (909) 946-7624.

  • These Police Officers have no idea of the law as they're merely revenue collectors and statute enforcers working for the Universal Postal Union in Berne, Switzerland which controls the bankrupt U.S. through Uniform COMMERCIAL Code of 1933 enslaving all citizens who have a birth certificate (C'estui Que Vie) under 'Code and Rule' of the Crown based as the sovereign state of the City of London covertly controlled since the 14th Century by the Knights of Malta at VIa Condotti, Rome & St John's Wood

  • Mr. 2amendment100. i invite you to South Bay Open Carry Facebook. I wrote a response to you there. IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT WE ARE. PLEASE COME AND LEARN. If you don't know all the facts you can't make an intelligent decision or statement. Do join us at one of our meetings.

  • @usasfga12 I have no interest in supporting a group who's sole goal is to act as agitators and scare the public while cloaking themselves in the Constitution. Your stupid. The law allows many things, rational people don't use it to scare people and create mayhem. I support the 2nd Amend, but not what you guys do. Because the law says it's legal does not mean it should be done as you people do it. You purposely put cops in no win situations. damned if they do, damned if they don't.

  • @2amendment100 - It's more than a political statement, do you have kids? how will you protect them? with your pepper spray? oh let me guess you don't go to dangerous places so you don't have anything to worry about. You are ignorant if you think trouble will not find you at everyday places. You call yourself 2nd amendment how? you will lose your 2nd amendment rights if you don't exercise them, instead you rely on "agitators" like us to put our own self on the line.

  • @cheeple Are you looking at the make-up of the US Supreme Court. 4 on the right, 4 on the left and one in the middle. Actions such as yours will push that middle road justice to the left and BAM, no 2nd Amendment. Keep up your stupidity and see what happens. You're doing more damage to the 2nd Amend than you realize with these displays of stupidity.

  • @2amendment100

    "Your stupid."

    Sweet irony!

  • @2amendment100

    "Your" ignorant.

  • You are a perfect example of why this country is doomed, much as the Romans were 2000 years ago. NO COMMON SENSE. They were a threat. They are in a crowded complex with guns and ammo, inciting a violent confrontation. All it takes is one person to feel threatened by their actions and respond with another weapon, then we have mayhem. The cops should rightly be allowed to determine if a crime is being committed, if not then why have cops. lets just go back to Tombstone, Az.

  • @2amendment100 Exercising your rights makes you a threat? The individuals inciting a violent confrontation were the criminals in Upland PD uniforms. It's obvious you are a pig. Pigs always look out for other pigs, even when they violate the rights of honorable people or shoot an unarmed man like Oscar Grant in the back.

  • @onedavetoomany No. Actually I'm a business owner who has been robbed. I have a great deal of respect for cops so I guess that puts me at the opposite end of your movement, but so be it. And really? Oscar Grant is the high mark you guys aspire to achieve. His death was unfortunate, but REALLY? You have just made the best argument against these two lump heads that could ever have been made. You and your people are agitators, nothing more. The 2nd Amend is an afterthought for your group.

  • @2amendment100

    "inciting a violent confrontation"

    You are delusional.

  • If this is what is considered acceptable behavior and the cops are punished for trying to keep me and my family safe from lunatics like this, then I'm sorry for serving my country and trying to protect the Constitution in order to allow this bastardization of the Constitution.

  • @2amendment100 no matter what your opinion is, the 2 men were well within thier rights and current laws. The cops however violated several laws and acted inapropriatly. There was no threat or reason to hassle these guys. Simply do your 12031e check and be on your way. They are not allowed to take your weapon or run your ID if you are not committing a crime. Hope the city can afford the payout for the civil rights violations

  • @2amendment100

"I'm sorry for serving my country"

    What country? Red China?

  • @2amendment100, You couldn't have stated it better!!! These guys give me the vibes that they're rejects from some Governmental agency and their dying(no pun intended) wish is to be someone's hero.

  • And all you people demanding the cops be punished, your basing your opinion on bias and an incomplete picture of what happened. The video I see is not a full account of what happened. They were not searched and the cops did not abuse them physically. Duran's comments about transparency in government is likely taken out of context. these two dumbies take transparency to mean access to top secret docs and covert ops/the CIA. This stuff is secret for a reason. National Security.

  • This could have been easily solved by these two flakes calling the police and notifying them that they were there, like other activists have done under similar circumstances. I served my country in order to protect these a-holes' right to do this stuff, but that doesn't mean they need to do this in a crowded strip mall with women and children everywhere. Grow up and use your head for something other than a hat rack.

  • @2amendment100 - You do realize there have been killings and infact massacres at strip malls all over the Country don't you? but it'll never happen to you, cause you have more sense than to protect yourself. I pray you don't have any kids, You just don't want to have a confrontation with the Police, you'd rather place yourself and your loved ones at risk and be good sheeple.

  • I love the 2nd amendment, I rely on it to be able to keep the guns I own, but these two dipshits are nothing but agitators who know enough to get themselves or someone else killed. If i was robbed and you walked into my place with a gun like these guys, your dead on the floor before you can say hi. As for the officers wanting backup from these morons, I sure wouldn't. I wouldnt want them anywhere near me. They are more a threat than any help they could provide.

  • @2amendment100

"If i was robbed and you walked into my place with a gun like these guys, your dead on the floor before you can say hi."

And you would be in prison for the rest of your life. You are mentally/emotionally unstable and should not own firearms.

  • The stupid ass with the camera just wanted to make as big a scene as possible and scare as many people as he could. I know that area, there is a jewelry store that got robbed a few years back. They had guns pulled and told they were going to be killed, then these dipweeds show up and stand in front of the store, laughing at them when they got scared. The only agenda these guys had was to argue with the cops and create mayhem, not peacefully educate the public.

  • @2amendment100

"there is a jewelry store that got robbed a few years back. They had guns pulled and told they were going to be killed,"

    Oh no! Cancel the 2A!

    Logic is not your forte.

  • Wow. What complete morons you people are. I happen to be in the adjacent business when this thing went down so let me tell you what happened. These 2 jackasses went there to cause a scene, not protect their rights. I called Upl pd to see if they had advance notice of these idiots and no such call was made. Someone with common sense and brains would have alerted the cops that they were there peacefully to educate people on the 2nd Amend. These MORONS simply wanted publicity.

  • @2amendment100 - You called the PD? Your a fucking Rat! You have no Honor, did you see their caps that said "Open Carry"? We're just lawful citizens going about our daily lives, you want me to Twitter the police every 5 minutes?

  • @cheeple Ooohhhhh, I'm so depressed now that I have been called a rat, for simply making an inquiry with my local police dept. This attitude that cooperating with the cops and calling in crimes or informing the cops about criminal conduct being "A Rat" is typical of gang member and criminal mindset. It's always the right thing to do to call the cops when a crime is committed, anything less is the mindset of a criminal or gang member. every word from your mouth shows your ignorance.

  • @2amendment100 - WHAT CRIME DID YOU CALL IN? WHAT CRIMINAL CONDUCT DID YOU WITNESS? YOU ARE A FUCKING DUMBSHIT!

  • @cheeple And by the way, the cap is the magic 'KINGS X"? That's supposed to explain everything? So some three strikes criminal can't find an "Open Carry" cap and put it on. The cops are then supposed to divine from this magic cap that the person wearing it doesn't harbor criminal thoughts? It's all in the cap huh? You and people like you (read: IDIOTS), have no concept of rational thought. I wish I could buy the same crystal ball that you seem to own so I could know everything, before it happens

  • Wow what a dick. Nice job on standing your ground and peacefully resisting.

  • Officer Duran is a idiot. Does that fat bastard not know if a he got involve in a officer shooting in that mall those 2 guys would of backed him up? Its no wonder that place got robbed recently , The fat officer that patrols that area is always fucken eating and not patrolling the streets

  • @jeffxbr hahahaaaaaaaa, how ironic it is that in the same sentence you write "Officer Duran is a idiot" you so eloquently use yourself as an example! LOL Correction: jeffxbr is an idiot!!!!! While I'm at it, "got in a officer...." It's, got in an Officer....Before you call someone "a idiot" next time, check yourself.

  • What barbarians! All thats missing are "SS" lapel markers and Swastikas on their uniforms!

  • What barbarians! All thats missing are "SS" lapel markers and Swastikas o

  • WoW... I couldn't believe officer Duran admitted to not believing in government transparency 4:40 U.S. Citizens should have the right to know about their government and who they elect into office as well as its public servants.

  • yea. Its officer safety that officer duran had to shut off his camera. And officer safety must of been the reason he yelled at him for politely using his right to not consent to a search. Oh and calling them a bunch of knuckleheads for lawfully excersising there rights as well. yea that was all done for the safety of the officers.

  • Props to you guys for keeping your cool in spite of the oppression. It's so funny how they think they can do whatever they want as long as they yell out "officer safety!" Who the heck is this officer safety guy? What makes him above the law?

  • @Mazer0600 its not an issue of him being above the law, its an issue of making sure he doesn't get killed doing his job. in this situation, as soon as they determined the gentleman were not a threat, and within their legal boundaries, they should have been let go.

  • @raptorarchangel exactly!

  • Wow that officer duran is a nazi. I like how in the second video he says he does'nt believe in a transpearency of government. Thats one first class public servent there.

  • Certainly, this appears to be an illegal detainment and search by Upland PD.

  • These men go and serve our country to help secure our country and when they get back this is how they are treated, shameful. These officers by their own admission knew was open carry was and still chose to violate the law. Here in California we are on the brink of losing our 2nd amendment freedoms and we need more like these men. CARRY ON!
