THATS THE ENDING?!!! u mean 2 tell me u gotta go through all that bullshit just for credits???!!! lol anyways thanks 4 posting u saved me the trouble lol
so let me get this straight, in order to fight Sabu, i have to deal with a labyrinth/gauntlet of enemies, and then i have to put up with an ultracheap boss who relies on a handgun to add to the difficulty, and then when i kick his ass, i get a "slap to the face" ending as thanks for beating this game? what a crock of shit
I beat this game on 1st and 2nd Levels where the endings are identical.
But the 3rd and final level, I could not get through the 4th level maze of doors. The route to the 4th level Sabu is different on the 3rd difficukty level.
The reason the ending blew was because in the original Nekketsu Kouha Kunio kun game, Kuni had to rescue his buddy. In the end of that version, it had the door in the BG open with his friend then Kunio and his friend shook hands. Then the credits roll.
Did you just make Mr. K hump Sabu to death, TheMeanArena? That is so wrong, but just as funny as the non existent ending lol! I remember thinking that the player might be presented with a better ending if the game is beaten on the highest difficulty level, which is level-3, however it's exactly the same. Target:Renegade also has a rather lame ending.
kazuo sawa, you made one of the best vg musics ever.

I guess this game's ending can be filed under, "The sensation of being kicked in the balls."

what a horrid ending. I'm glad I didn't waste my time with it when I was younger.
