Great memories of Mid-South. Here in Shreveport, I went to alot of the house shows. When Barbarian turn on Jake, I was shocked. Great battles.

I remember watching this when I was a kid, Channel 39 in Houston. I was devastated when Barbarian turned on Jake. They were so good at being bad guys the crowd turned them.

I wonder why Barbarian left Mid-South all of a sudden? The angle never really finished.

@junelima363 Ashley retired because of that move. He was injured legit. Watts would refer to it a few times over the next several months as an example of wrestling only being for the really tough. He'd make ti out that Ashley ran scared when he realized how tough Mid-South Wrestling was.
