The Tim Tebow era could turn out fine, but if it doesn't, I think that Bowlen shouldn't have fired Mike. He should have given him an ultimatum to fix the defense or he would be out. Or, if Pat had to fire him, he should have brought in Spagnuolo or Jim Schwartz, not the moron. If McDaniels didn't draft Tebow, this team would be up **** creek without a paddle. That is the only thing he did right.

I think Bronco fans and Bowlen are gonna be in for a rude awakening. They got spoiled. They're gonna find out that winning 2 Super Bowls and numerous playoff games isn't near as easy or frequent for most teams as it has been for Denver. I heard the Chiefs were talking to him. If he goes there you can be assured that he'll put together a winning team just like he did in Denver. Between him, and the fact that the Chargers are no longer patsies, winning in Denver could be a long lost memory.

it was a bad call...does not change the fact that SD put themselves in a bad position by giving up 31 points before that...or Denver driving the ball at the end of the game twice...you act like you got jobbed...did you watch the Steelers Seahawks super bowl? That's ripping a championship from a team...and you and ESPN spent all year whining about a call in Week 2...like there weren't 14 games left to prove SD was a "great" team.

I'm not a San Diego fan so no, I'm not acting like anything. You got beat and the game was handed to you by a ref. Nothing you can say changes that fact. They outplayed you twice and, whether you scored 31 or not, you didn't legitimately win that game. Nobody said they were a great team but they were certainly better than Denver.

Back when Bowlen canned Dan Reeves who was also a good coach, Dan Reeves was way to stubborn to make the right changes and give up some control and more than likely they may not have lost those three super bowls. So Shanahan compared to Dan Reeves did a much better job of coaching and making the changes within that truly needed to be made in order for them to win those two Super Bowls. Bowlen didn't make a big mistake when he let Dan Reeves go, but this time will be the biggest blunder he made

Mike did a damn good job for the Broncos and it wasn't his fault for how they finished. There was only so much he could do as a coach. The rest was up to the players to execute the game plan. Face it Mike couldn't go out on the field and play. Bowlen made a bad move. Bowlen should have told Mike that he needed to make some major changes in the defensive coaching staff and he more than likely would have.
