I've heard that the damage for the guns will be "fixed" in retail. I was really hoping that they would have left it alone, because to me, the damage was fine. I hated how it took forever to drop an enemy in bad company 2. I mean, how can people say they want realism in games, but do not expect to die quickly from taking multiple bullet wounds?

I have a GeForce GTX460 and I can run on Ultra (no anti-aliasing) with good framerate except for intensive moments (explosions)... Shame it has that occasional lag...

The gameplay mechanics are still there, and the game is still fundamentally the same. On the map given to try, it seems DICE knew what they were doing when they scaled the maps down, as it is not overly hard to find someone to kill.
I don't know why so many people are slamming the sniper rifles, esp. the bolt action. I'm not the most skilled on a sniper, but I can tell you that it is a force to be reckoned with in the hands of say Enigma and other expert snipers. If you don't believe me check out this 6 kill steak video on my Chanel that I have with sv98 (granted you need you pistol for backup cause its not always a one shot kill) that does not involve camping! In my opinion the weapon used is second to the skill of player.

Eh...it's kind of in no-man's land between enthusiast and mainstream. The lowest I would classify as enthusiast is a GTX 570, and even then neither of those can compete with a monster GTX 590 or HD 6990.

when you say you removed the scope off the sniper, do you mean you can take it off mid game like changing fire rate or do you do this the selection menu?
@mnfdsng yeah, just look at the leaderboards of BC2. There are people with so many points but so little kills it's not really possible. I've never run into any either but they're there.
This Game is actually Worse than Medal of Honor. At least Medal of Honor was tolerable. I have yet to unlock a GUN that is worth a damn. Every gun I have tried is absolutely awful. The attachments you unlock for each gun actually make the guns WORSE. I'll keep playing it, but so far I don't like what I see. I am Definitely canceling my pre-order.

Has anyone else played the Beta? So disappointing! The recoil is shit. The aiming is shit. The sway 'back and forth' when you use your gun is SO annoying. When you turn (left or right) your gun LEANS way too much (just like in Killzone for example)! The GUNS and the OPTICS are incredibly ugly. The graphics are NOT what was advertised in the commercials. The sound is GREAT. But way too many people crawling on the ground, or sitting in green bushes playing like camping bitches.

the game actually has a lot of stuff from 2142 as well as BF2 and BFBC2, the classes and the beacn are two things that are similar to 2142, while at least the jets and playercount I think are from BF2

very nice gameplay, i subbed! i have a question, ive installed the beta and everything is fine got update and stuff for my shit graphics card which is the reason i believe its a geforce 9600 GS and when i go into a game it loads up and then black screen and but i can still hear the sound and guns shooting but then suddenly it goes away with an error about directx was hung due to bad commands the my graphics card. is the reason for this is cause i need a better card which im getting soon

You're able to max out the game because it's locked at medium settings for the BETA.

The UPM-45 is beast in this game, just unlocked it at 16. Best part is it's an all kit weapon, use it on my recon class.

This Game is actually Worse than Medal of Honor. At least Medal of Honor was tolerable. I have yet to unlock a GUN that is worth a damn. Every gun I have tried is absolutely awful. The attachments you unlock for each gun actually make the guns WORSE. I'll keep playing it, but so far I don't like what I see. I am Definitely canceling my pre-order.

Has anyone else played the Beta? So disappointing! The recoil is shit. The aiming is shit. The sway 'back and forth' when you use your gun is SO annoying. When you turn (left or right) your gun LEANS way too much (just like in Killzone for example)! The GUNS and the OPTICS are incredibly ugly. The graphics are NOT what was advertised in the commercials. The sound is GREAT. But way too many people crawling on the ground, or sitting in green bushes playing like camping bitches.

the game actually has a lot of stuff from 2142 as well as BF2 and BFBC2, the classes and the beacn are two things that are similar to 2142, while at least the jets and playercount I think are from BF2

very nice gameplay, i subbed! i have a question, ive installed the beta and everything is fine got update and stuff for my shit graphics card which is the reason i believe its a geforce 9600 GS and when i go into a game it loads up and then black screen and but i can still hear the sound and guns shooting but then suddenly it goes away with an error about directx was hung due to bad commands the my graphics card. is the reason for this is cause i need a better card which im getting soon
