  • 0:33 does it look like she has another thumb?

  • How to use dowsing rods?????? They are bull shit!!!

  • I have dousing rods and they pretty much use them no matter which way you hold them. I have even taight them to high-five me with one held in one hand and opening up my other hand flat and up in the air. They love using them.

  • I use pendulum for conversations with entities, I have some succes with spitits, but most the time with aliens, I was sceptical fist but after couple of years I'm hooked on.

  • @MrTomaszmaz how you go about doin that

  • Why do people feel the need to tell us who know dowsing works that it doesn't? Does this make them feel better some how? I know my pendulum works and I am not a witch so it just gies to show that people across the religious/ psychic spectrum use dowsing for a variety of reasons and are successful.

  • @sassylassy01 What would you say to someone that said that they could flap their arms and fly? What would you say to someone who said that when they eat an apple, they become temporarily invisible? what would you say to anyone else who made a claim that wasn't consistent with the way the world works, and yet were adamant that they were right?

  • Worked in utility's for over 25 years, have consistently debunked half wits that think they can find water pipes like this, they only ever find bull shit or things they know the location of.Users should be hosed down with p**s.

  • It kind of scares me that so many people are ignorant of basic science.

  • DOWSING DOES NOT WORK HOWEVER MUCH YOU WANT IT TO. NO PRPER DOBLE BLIND HAS EVER ACHIEVED BEETER THAN CHANCE.

IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME PLEASE TAKE THE MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE AT RANDI.ORG

IDEOMOTOR EFFECT. FULL STOP. NO IFS OR BUTS. ANECDOTAL EVIDENCE IS NO EVIDENCE.

AND FLK SCIENCE.... WHAT THE HELL IS THAT. WAKE UP FOLKS. WORLD FULL OF BS. THIS A GOOD EXAMPLE....

  • They do work for finding water. I was trying to find irrigation valves that had been buried under 3' of dirt. Hired a guy with a back hoe and we wasted over an hour trying to find any of them with no success.. Then he ask me if I would mind if he used his L -rods. He found the first valve in less than 5 minutes and went on to find all 6 of them. I would have never believed it was possible if I didn't see it for myself.

  • When I was in the Air Force at Holloman AFB, I was in the water dept. We used dowsing rods to find water pipes that were not properly documented and it worked. Our supervisor was a master sergeant and no new ager. He just knew that it was a type of folk science.

  • Ghosts are one thing. Dowsing rods are are total bullshit. They are just far to sensitive to consider them reputable tools for paranormal research. For example: " If using dowsing rods is total bullshit, then please cross the rods". Come on people. Just the slightest movement of your arm can cause them to move.

  • hey at least they can use those rods as splints. When there legs break under there own stupidity.

  • You've got to be kidding? I can do the same with two magnetized rods of different polarities or electrically driven by batteries concealed on body with ting switches. You must think people are stupid. Try religion dude.

  • when i was younger I remember watching this plumber guy using a diving rod to find a old pipe underground at a old farm house my friends parents just purchased.. I didn't believe it and I couldn't believe that a guy who did this as a professional was using this device.. but sure enough to my amazement he marked the ground in a line and dug up the pipe in that exact location, it was put there probably 50 years earlier, I still don't know if I believe it.. but it worked in that case.

  • I don't know why they work but I just used em to find an old spinkler systen.

  • If you look close, you can see her flexing her fingers. Poorly faked.

  • I know dowsing rods work for ive used them my self but this is fake shes clearly moving her hands.you should try longer dowsing rods.

  • It's called the Ideomotor effect, and you will experience it with any unbalanced item carried in your hands - its amplified when you move due to the body movements translating through the shoulder and elbow joints to the hands.

Try this as an example : balance a pencil on the tip of a nail on any finger, and watch as even though you try to hold it steady it will move simply from the bloodflow through your veins and residual sensory nervous responses that are constantly interfering.

  • ummm whats up with this LAME music?

  • Her finger are moving...this is a fake!

  • Dowsing rods are fake...

  • It's called the ideo-motor effect. She's moving them without her brain realizing it. This has been proven time and time again, and is the same principle that applies to Ouija boards.

  • My husband, an electrical contractor uses dowsing on-site to determine the location of existing underground power lines. We are energetic receivers- it's not mystical, it's nature.

  • if your husband is a electrical contractor, wouldit he all ready have a good idea where the existing underground power lines even with the rods?

if your husband can really do this you 2 should take the james randi 1mil test

  • Let's put this discussion to rest, shall we? Dowsing is not a hoax. Tropical bird breeders regularly use it to determine the sex of a young chick. They attach a needle to a string and suspend it over the bird. The needle swings one way for male and another for female. Also dowsers are more accurate than technology (i.e. electronic scanning devices) when it comes to locating high-yield, fresh water sources.

  • Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and call bullshit on that last claim unless you can give me 100% solid proof. And in relation to your first claim, I put in various searches related to determining sex of a egg with dowsing rods and found nothing. No breeding websites, no "how to" guides. Nothing. This makes me doubt how "regularly" it's used. Either support your claims or don;t make them at all.

  • Dowsing is a hoax. It's called the ideo motor effect" it's when muscle movemnts bypass your awareness of them. Tears, for example, you aren't consciously aware that you are crying sometimes, but you are. Same thing here, you're moving the sticks because you unconsciencely want a certain reaction. It's not an "energy field" it's your subconscience.

  • my grandma did it when builders were trying to find a blocked drain in her garden, she tried it and they crossed (she didnt know where they were) and when they crossed they dug down and they were there.

she is a very superstitious person but im not sure, im going to have a go tho, but i know where your comig from, i think this we do allot of stuff like this -subconscience.

  • Sky dowsing is NOT a HOAX, I suggest you trying experiementing before coming to any incorrect conclusion. Get two metal coat hangers and shape them into rods with handles, then lightly hold them in your hands, fill the sink or a bowl of water and slowly walk until the rods are over the source of water. The rod will actually cross each other, I have done this and it works, even done it with my eyes closed and it works.

  • An experiment was done with 10 boxes, one of them contained a sample of metal which a dowser claimed he could find. Now if dousing is effective, it shouldn't take more than two tries, therwise it just comes down to guessing, the dowser took three tried to get it. This is because he had no idea where the sample could be, neither did the presenter or the audience. It was a triple blind experiment done by James Randi. I think I'd rather not waste good coat hangers :P

  • i saw that and the dude used a stupid dowsing form

  • also, you seriously responded to a three month old comment? Seriously dude?

  • Doesn't matter if it's 3 months or 3 days, I'm seriously stating that dowsing does exist and have experimented personally. James Randi is one of the biggest idiots on the planet, he tries to debunk even the truth at times. I actually wrote off to him through email once, I literally tied the guy in so many knots he got overly aggressive with me when I was getting the better of him. I have had 100% rate finding water with dowsing. Never tried finding other objects with rods, but 100% with water.

  • I have a100% rate of pulling 20 dollar bills out my ass. Guess which one of us has a more useful skill?

  • LOL you sure that's the only thing you pull out? lol

  • No I also pull out diamonds, but seriously I don't know why you don't believe me. I have just as much proof as you do.

  • I use them to find gullible people ;D Always good to have a pair of these on a bar now a days, just to check out which chicks are the easy ones...

  • fake.

  • they cross when they find water too u no that rite? my grandpa and mom used them in the feilds on the farm to find where to dig a well

  • crabbo VS oogle2020, the first ever Comment on Youtube fight!! xDD

  • Notice how she is holing the rods. The horizontal axis of the rods are resting on her fingers which restricts movement. It is better to cut some straws in half and slide it over the handle to allow the rods to move freely without any obstructions. Also helps to lower the pointer ends of the rods so that they are pointing down about 1 inch to stabilize a neutral position. If you don't have balance in the rods than other forces such as gravity will act upon the rods giving you inaccurate results.

  • interesting

  • Ghosts are just a perception of our Higher beings in a higher realm of dimension...we cant see em but they can see us...our naked eye cant perceive it but our inner eye can

  • This sounds like made-up gobbledygook.

  • hahahaha yeah it prob is...but u know what i just put together what i think

  • Before selling any more to uncritical customers, have you ever performed a double-blind test? Ie. get *someone else* to fill a few jars with and without water, cover them, leave the room, and you test your ability.

Right down all your answers before uncovering any of them. If your rods still detect the correct jars well.. you'd be the first person ever to succeed.

  • You are a fucking idiot!

  • And why's that Cabo02? You realize if this were real you'd be a million dollars richer (JREF prize), and you'd household name?

  • +1000

  • dip stick grandpa used this method and he used willow stick ect and he was always right so what with the psycho theory here everyone knows that water flows and it produces an electrical field undergroud when flowing so if we are made of electric say then those rods would work soo its not mental its all in the person who holds the most in there heart! Idiot! Its science not psycho test its simple science joblow

  • It doesnt matter how you *think* it works. I don't care if you think it uses magnetic fields, psychokinetic vibrations, or russian spy satellites from the future. Step 1 is showing it works better than flipping a coin in a scientifically controlled (ie cheat-free) environment. It has *never* passed Step 1.

  • You know you have alot to learn and just think it all started with our past..lol lol It does work and if it wasnt for our great great grandfathers dowsing You wouldnt be here OH, thats right You cant trace back your family tree cause you closed minded...lol lol dude..I bet without looking your a teenager or just stayed tht way?

  • oogle202. Im sorry I have no idea what you're trying to get at. It sounds like youre flailing about wildly trying to insult and/or confuse us. If you have evidence that dowsing is better than random chance post it, else be big enough to admit the absolute absence of evidence.

  • Those are quite easy to make and fun.

I know that dowsing rods have been used for a long time even farmers have used them to find water in the fields from what I've heard. But again one must research before commencing into projects.

  • Wow, it appears that the rods swivel more easily toward each other than away from each other. That's amazing

  • no, just youtube being odd I think. I'm guessing that your proof isn't particularly convincing, or you'd be rich by now.

  • wait a min there is such a thing seen it utube is new but look up magnetic fields underground and you can see how it does it/ for father didnt know either/ we discovered flows by new technology that prove this does work

  • Hmm. All of my responses have been deleted. Are you scared of the truth?

  • sorry, for some reason, youtube had cached old comments, showing only the old one. I thought you'd been busy deleteing comments, apologies!

  • water flows underground and creates a magnectic filed underground and with this electric filed some people because of the water flowing too much especially through lime rock ect have had psychological problems ect because of the magnetic field! Our bodys are electric so to speak and conduct along wiht the flow...whats the truth?

  • I assume you mean "field" not "filed"? And is it magnetic or electric? Sounds like you're throwing about scientific terms you don't understand.

  • LOL I understand more than you could ever grasp and one thing is for sure your grandparents for fathers ect used this system of dowsing...you cant explain everything but it works and always has..just this generation is so brainwashed into thinking everything is under control...what your suppose to act like or do or be...Be YOU....crab-bo

  • Just saying you're cleverer than me isn't much of an argument, it just makes you sound arrogant. My ancestors used to drown people accused of being witches and would often drill holes in their skulls to stop headaches - why don't we do that any more?

  • Didnt say i was clever but i cant stop laughing!!!!!!!! funny really it was Maybe we should take bush lol lol lol and pratice what the family teaches lol lo lol lol Im a part of the witch thing lol lo bush family thats so funny....except im the good witch

  • oogle2020: whereabouts do you live? Perhaps you could demonstrate your powers.

  • crabbo what a name...lol lol when you sleep at night dont let the bed bugs bite...and dont wake up in a sweat no more...cause life is what it is and your going to die one day or sooner...just not soon enough huh? LOL

  • So.... I ask for a demonstration, you make veiled threats on my life? Well, that's one way to pursue an argument.

  • Crab! Glad this wasnt politics...you would loose...lol then again if your family practiced witch craft we would all be a bush!

  • Sorry oogle2020, I really don't understand what you mean.

  • These don't work. I used them once to try and find a ghost, but all it seemed to pick up were pixies, gnomes and unicorns.

  • Well at least you found something... i don't have much faith in them myself. I don't use them for ghost hunting. I prefer to use an emf meter. You CAN use a high quality compass to detect energy fields just like you use an emf meter. Another thing about the rods themselves is they can't be made of magnetic sensitive material ie* iron & steel. I use solid brass when I make mine for selling on ebay and my website.

  • Sorry, I was being a facetious. It does amaze me how people waste so much time in search of something that has no evidence for its existence.

  • I am a scientist and I have found proof of ghosts. I just can't reproduce the ghost phenomena. Once you experience a ghost, you'll never be the same. REALLY.

  • When I was a child I beleived I was experiencing a ghostly event. I was in a building, the only person for miles. It had a profound effect on me for a few minutes. Then I found out what it was. As an adult, When I see things I can't explain, I don't automatically follow the supernatural explanation. I've never been surprised by what I see. What was your life changing event?

  • wow magnetic fields flowing underground

  • Mike. If experience means proof than a building full of psychiatric patients means undeliable proof of aliens, unicorns and elvis.

  • @mikeatencio A scientist eh? So you test hypothesis and theories to end up with facts and conclusions that can be tested by other scientists. Have published any findings for peer review in any science journals?

  • @mikeatencio Really. How does it work????

  • @mikeatencio I completely agree. I'm a very skeptical person, but I'm also open minded. People believe that because science says no, then no. But in science, to prove something you must be able to reproduce the phenomena. Its hard to do that with the more spiritual things. Though you can use science to explain spiritual things at times. :D

  • @mikeatencio not to make you mad, im a ghost believer myself, but i've alwys been told if something isn't repeatable, then it "isn't science"

  • @ohphop The CIA and numerous other governments have invested time and money into such topics lol. I've also proven paranormal phenomena and know its legitimate. Sure there are fakes and frauds but there are also genuine cases and experiences out there. You just need to experience it to believe it. Then you'll know for sure.

  • @ohphop just because you don't see them doesn't mean they don't exist!

Energy is vibration/ frequency and we humans only see colors, thats the only frequency we can see. You don't see a microwave but it works. You don't see radio waves but we all know it somehow works.

So maybe you should read a few more books before you make comments.

  • @Auriclight Maybe I'm reading the wrong books? The 4 years I spent studying engineering were obviously completely lost on me.

While I agree that things can exist that you can't see, it's not true that things can exist because you think they should, or want them to.

  • how do u get one of does
