Soo, uhm I have an female blood elf spriest and now I made a human warlock and want it to be affliction. Are those two in the samen direction. So lots of crit rating for the DoTs and that kind of things. What is there about the warlock I need to know that a spriest doesn't have and visa versa.

@erkkazz11 Dude, don't start to complain about your class before you even reach 85. The game isn't balanced for low levels, but for max level. When you reach 85 AND learn your class, then you can start complaining.

Eh, alliance, ur pet is on passive so no spell lock, devour magic or shadow bite for some xtra dmg, alot of these comments are really horrible. Most of you should stick to PvE. Whoever said something bout being a ambush lock and not using shadow bolt or haunt went on to say they didnt find soul swap useful? Soulswap is big in pvp, its why locks are doing ok in PvP.

I'd say you shouldn't use haunt, or shadow bolt or anything that the enemy can use o trace back to you (for those who are confused, ambush lock is a lock who hides underwater and in bushes and dots his targets before they can find him out, then ports away. It's really useful in eots and wsg, b/c they have good hiding spots).

Hey broski, hope you still read the comments because I need a little help.. I started leveling a warlock because of you and Adouken and I'm having a little trouble.. Farming-wise, I only seem to do reasonably good as Afflic, but I hate it.. Soul Swap seems useless tbh and I really love the other 2 specs a lot more. PvP-wise, I can't do much.. I'm wondering if it's just because I'm a lower level but does PvP become more enjoyable when I get some resil and stop getting 1-shotted? XD

Of course I read comments. It's just hard to keep it up without internet in my new flat. ;)

Anyway, don't play affli if affli doesn't suit your playstyle. I myself, however, were a sworn destrolock ever since vanilla. I thought I'd give affli a shot in cata and I fell in love.

You have to get a lot of resilience in the beginning. I socketed all yellow gems with resi. Remember as affli you have to outlast the enemies instead of popping them down with nukes.

@CoreGamerPS360vista Depends what you mean by 'pro-gamer' Whilst it is true that the most successful PvE raiding guilds are alliance, no way are the majority of top PvP players alliance. They are mostly Horde. I have toons on both factions and can honestly say that the horde side seems more skilled. That's not to say there isn't very skilled alliance players, because i've seen those, too. There's just more horde i feel.

And whether it's skill or no skill, I don't care. I've gotten beaten hard by frost mages because I truly believe that with any class, in the right hands, feel "impossible" to kill, but I wouldn't go to such extent and say that they have second to none skill.

@MartenRicks Essentially, I use ESDF for movement and the surrounding keys for abilities. Some keys are more accessible than others so spell lock target and focus are T and G respectively. Also bound some to MB5 and MB4 (the back and forward button on the mouse) and the scroll wheel (both with click and modifiers). I managed to bind every single ability, incl. macros, that I use.
