I can't explain that. Some Aircraft I put in also didn't have sound so I ended up just deleting them. Is it all of your aircraft you install???

Hi! After installing an aircraft, how do I find it? Is it based on a certain airport (i.e. Luxair at Luxembourg) or is it randomly flying all around the world?

Best chance of Finding a Airliner is to go to its more common airports. For instance, If I installed a bunch of American Airlines stuff, then i'd probably wanna go to Dallas/Fort Worth Intl. since its more common there. Of course, you can find almost any airliner at the bigger ports. lol.

@NewCenturyZer0H I installed a Luxair 747 and started to watch the AI traffic near airport Luxembourg, but the Luxair were not around. :-(

What time of the day are you going to this airport? (yes, time of day does effect which traffic comes through) lol.

If that doesn't work, try re-installing them. Maybe it didn't go through correctly.

@NewCenturyZer0H Thanks for the hint! But I tried morning, day, evening and night, but the Luxair were never in sight. :-( Maybe because it´s a pilotable AI plane?

It might be. Some are sometimes lol. Of course, I don't remember as much about this subject as I used to since I haven't played FS in a long time xD. I'll keep looking for solutions though and If I find anything i'll give ya a head up. =)

It does. Just put the stuff in your Flight Simulator X Directories instead of Flight Simulator 9.

Your settings would be inside of Flight simulator. Once in there, there should be a place that says something like "Amount of Traffic" or just "traffic". Just need to slide the little bar to 100%. Sorry this isn't super clear but it has been awhile since I've used FS so My memory is a bit rusty on the subject.

I installed the major airlines, and I get (for example) a few AA, a few United, a few foreign, and the rest are default planes, Landmark, Orbit, etc. Is there a way to ONLY have the WOAI planes appear?

Because, if you don't explain your reasoning for making those folders and why you put them where they are then people won't get it. All I was doing was trying to make this simple for others to understand (Which I did perfectly if you look at the damn comments).

what do you mean set your traffic to 100%

go into flight simulator 4 and you should find a settings tab and inside that tab there should be a option somewhere to set the amount of traffic that is active when you play. you wanna turn it all the way up to 100% to get the most out of the traffic that you have downloaded.

Go to the settings and change them. Also, you probably want to have a nice rig to play on. Standard graphics cards won't pump out as good graphics as if you went out and bought a newer one. Try changing your settings though.

Once you get inside Flight Simulator, You go to settings, then it should be somewhere in there. It should say something like "AI Traffic blah blah" on it lol. HOpe this helps!

Are you using vista or Windows 7? If you are, make sure to run as Administrator. Also make sure your Directory for those ai traffic files haven't been changed.

Weird. they should work. Did you keep the extracted files once you installed them? If you delete them then they don't stay in Flight simulator. Also, don't change the directory of where you keep the files because thats where Flight Simulator pulls them from every time you start up the Game.

Flight simulator relates them to that when it trys to use them.
