i found one of these in a barn and rebuilt it, had it on the road for 6 months and the gearbox went, put in a xr3 gearbox and sold it, wish i had kept it and just payed the cash for the proper box, wasnt the same with wrong one. if you have one of these beutiful machines, do yourself a favour and never sell it, put it in a garage if you cant afford to fix it because one day you will have the money and you WILL have one of the finest classic sportscars around. thanks for listenig to me rant !!!!
These cars r probably the best car in the world- reliability, speed, fool-proof handling, a set of twin 45DCOE carbs would be good. I saw a westfield car with one of these engines once, fast!

They are original to the RS1600i.
Only differende here it the front has been colour coded white instead of the standard black plastic finish!
