did you hear about SHERGAR has anyone forgot about him ? WHERE IS THIS GOLDEN HORSE .??? THIS BEAUTIFULL HORSE . . and think about the fright and the pain he had to go through too <<+ i just love all horses.. Ruffian, bisquit, eight Belles, Phar Lap,.. Secretariat.. Kelso.. Sunday Silence.. and so on.. but the mystery of my favorite horse had never been solved, but i hope he is still alive or that he had a good life RIP SHERGAR I LUV U
At least the mystery of Phar Lap was solved back in those days they gave racehorses arsenic tonics....and his trainer admitted on his deathbed that Phar Lap was given one before he died.....I have the Shergar movie, you should read the Phar Lap book it's awesome.
Even in the belmont, Kent Desormeaux pulled him up because he knew that something was wrong. Would you like it if he let Big Brown only to run and finish next to last, and possibly break down? No, I wouldn't like to ever see that. I am glad that he looks sound and rested for his returning race on August 3rd. We all know that he is a great horse and can beat many horses....even curlin. So curlin fans look out becuase big brown is going to dominate the field! GO BIG BROWN!!!
Agreed. There's no reason or brains in driving a horse to the finish line when he's got nothing left to give. I'm not even sure if there was anything really wrong with him... I haven't really followed up with the story. But he wasn't going to do it so why push him to extremes. It's gonna be an interesting Breeders Cup this year. Can't say that I'm not gonna root for either one of them. But Big Brown will redeem himself without a dout.
how did u get that that is very cool im really glad u posted that very nice that spot is very uniqe i never saw it even though i went to the race and saw him up close well that clip was great
dont let kd ever ride him again.he wanted to run down the backstretch and kd held him back....ron turcotte would never have held secretariet back.he let the horse run dammit!

@SHELLMADDE Actually He is in, Big Red's stall. So he is in an old stall. It may look run down but it has a lot of history in it.

Just glad Big Brown is still sound. Let his hooves grow out and then race him. We couldn't stand seeing a break down in such a wonderful animal.
