  • so many things that could end the worl now, this of course, i hear north koreans are bui8lding nukes, astroid, black hole, and USA is messing with the earths core using waves to create earth quakes.

  • So ill just start with my dream theory

  • Um....shouldn't they you know have a world meeting/vote on this I mean all there doing is making a giant black hole to destroy the earth i mean did they say"hey guys let's build a machine to destroy the world" hey yeah that's a good idea lets kill children and baby's and all life as we know it.....DUMB IDEA YA STUPID SCIENTIST

  • @TheCYBERTRON44 It's not "THERE", it's "they're". There should be a period after "Earth" in that sentence. It should say "LET'S (with an apostrophe )kill children and not "LETS kill children". Also, it's not "YA". It's "YEAH". Wow, you sure could use a 2nd grade level English course! You're welcome, though. Glad I could teach you all of this tonight! :)

  • @jatio uh OK i really didn't care about all of that i was just trying to get my word out there

  • • SandustanBrasov

Now, were collided particles in LHC and you seen that is nothimg: none Higgs boson, none Big-Bang, neither black holes, but only thousands of shards of ethereal particles. Therefore, now -return you physicists from your distraction at Isaac Newton with his universal attraction law= THE UNIFIED LAW OF THE MATTERS AND FORCES, at the eliminated ETHER by Einstein, at the unseen world of the ethereal and spiritual matters which fill up the Cosmos, and return you at the Lord- at God!

  • SandustanBrasov

But celestial sources say us that whole Cosmos is filled with a dense powder of alive ethereal and electrogenic particles, and among they are streams of particles and more small because gravitational primary attraction among they, constituting primary gravitational field. But more exist,in the same space and secundary gravitational field produced by the ethereal concentrated particles in the ethereal bodies and in the chemical bodies which are neutral from electrical viewpoint.

  • I didn't really listen/watch the video, so someone explain to me what this will accomplish? Possibly destroying the world?

  • Higgs bozom! Congratulations!

  • Only a person have lunatic ideas can change the world ! (better/worse). Human is trying to understand the power of God, soon we will understand that.

  • this is unthinkable, so great! soon we will rule space, soon we will know god is real.

  • possibility of a black hole? this is a conCERN

  • my head is about to BINGBANG now:O

  • @TheSara90 how was that hard to under stand that seem pretty simple..

  • .....cant make black holes big enough they last for millionths of seconds and cannot accrue enough mass to become a black hole to kill everyone

    GO QUANTUM PHYSICS

oh and your have to have 30 grams of dark matter to destroy the earth......we can make that in about errmmm 10000 years of running it constantly 24/7

  • .....cant make black holes big enough they last for millionths of seconds and cannot accrue enough mass to become a black hole to kill everyone

    GO QUANTUM PHYSICS

  • *COUGH* 9.0 earthquake *COUGH* Japan has a particle accelerator too *COUGH* its even bigger than CERN *COUGH*

  • cern is my hero

  • a fly is bigger much much much bigger than a proton!! fyi!

  • there's a proverb in our language - "the one who doesnt know to dance , blames the floor and calls it uneven and bumpy".. if u dont want to believe, don't belive in lhc, or the graviton.. for goodness sake dont speak abt it badly.. its doing a wonderful job..in a mechanical life, no one seems to care abt the wonderful universe..so please dont comment badly!

  • I bet the public with all the physicists in the world at 10,000 euros, to at CERN will not find any Higss boson or graviton and no extra dimensions, because it does not exist! And that the whole project C.E.R.N.-absolute failure. Physicists today are exactly the wrong way. Quantum space-time response and the "God particle" as well as what they called the graviton. The extra dimensions are ordinary nonsense!

  • this is an interuption in the nature, it will be disasterious!!!

  • God created science so that we would have something to think about. Imagine how boring the world would be if everything had a simple explanation.

  • Our world is going to shit, is where its going. Smh..

  • Our world is going to shit, iswhere its going. Smh..

  • wait, why do we need something like this?

  • they should have spent those billions of dollars on trying to discover faster than light travel instead of this beginning of the universe stuff.

  • @darkman699 I think the idea is that if you know how the universe works, then you will learn how to manipulate it. You never know, it may just lead onto scientific discoveries including high speed travel.

  • @darkman699

Yeah, just imagine a ship that can withstand a faster than light speed impact with some loose objects like blocks of ice or small meteors. This is not Star Wars, no computer would calculate a course that would be free from even smallest objects that would turn the ship into scrap metal upon impact at such speed.

  • So why exactly does this need to be "deep underground". Yep lets try to create a mini big bang inside the earth - Awesome idea guys. (facepalm)

If its that important doing it in space would be a step in the right direction - oh yeah ..money.

  • @DataStream1983

There's big difference between few stories under the ground and near the core. It's not even under Earth's 'skin'. :P In case of any failure the earth will probably stop any serious damage(unless they start new big bang and another universe begins from franco-swiss border!

But it will probably not work as intended, since some scientists claim that neutrinos from CERN travelled slightly faster than light(and it's considered the fastest speed), so they'll need more calculations.

  • Texas was asked if they wanted to host this experiment and they said no. I love Texas!

  • HOLY SHIT i didnt know hannibal lector did voice overs for science LOL

  • @AexorsistiamA Hello clarice sphh sphhh sphhhhhhhhhh

  • damn, and to think that i though square roots were complex...

  • Religion is science. Seek for yourselves you lazy trolls... LoL

  • idk the way i see it, if some one came to my house and said " hey for all your familys life savings we could put a water slide in your house" although we run the risk of the ventalation failing so your house could crumble away way from the mold" so now we have no house and no money to feed my family and my kids cant go to school wow sounds good lets do peter griffen

  • just imagine those stars like single atoms, and imagine again that light is a particle that light is not in under the ground, that light is not insede your head, you cant control that light, because the light insede your head and the light in cern under the ground one pice of that LIGHT obey the GOD cometments and save yourself, dont be the energy supplier of new solar systm, because insede the core you will burn, while you burn you will see night mares, when you wake up, you will see fireMESSIAH

  • Its the creater, it s the destroyer and it s the maker, it s our LORD, it s very big, it s very mercifull, it very pawerfull, it s very hurtfull, it s very smart, it s very generius, it s infinty, it has no space, it has no time, it has no son, it has no wife,go look at the sky in night, and you will see billions bilions stars, beyond that stars, you will see a darkness, look s like dark colour but when you forward there are infnty colour insede that darkness, we call that ALLAH. messiahh

  • that s right,, we call that DESTINY,, now your destny in your hands now,, you will make your choice, fire or infnty with that darkness, at the judment day you will be alone not with your buddist mother , not with your ateist father or your hindu brother or your sink sister,my suggest read the GOD s books, maybe it s ganna help you the find out, GOD thought us haw to swim like fishes, THE GOD thougt us haw to fly like birds,GOD gave us everythink, NOT THAT ONE, because it s the only one,MESSIAHH

  • For all you religious freaks out there, the god particle is actually called the Higgs Boson.

This particle has absolutely nothing to do with god or allah or the aztec gods. The media only uses the 'god particle' name to get extra attention for a more general public. The origin of the name is from Leon Lederman's book.

It's called the 'god particle' in a metaphorical sense because the Higgs mechanism makes it possible to simplify the universe, resolving many different forces into one.

  • @Edge123455 the time hs came, sun is gong to blow up , and judment day will begin, obey our LORD, obey that dark matter, obey that infinty darkness, we already inside that particle, MUHAMMED IMAM EL MEHDI

  • @frenkyusuf

why are you so brain washed? you do realize that the only reason you follow your current religion is because of your parents. They taught you since you were little. Now, if they were buddhist or atheist, you will follow their exact believes.....u kno that right???

  • i going to make one in my backyard

  • I love God and I love science!

  • @MCoelho94 Most people think they can't love both, They're wrong

  • @MCoelho94 I love pepsi and I love coke

  • @MCoelho94 same here :D... i cant bealeve how ppl can be stupid -.-" making wars science vs religion....

  • @johnwest19991 t,one of that particle is already insede you,, MUHAMMED IMAM EL MEHDI,,

  • @johnwest19991 it s means, when they smashed notrons and protons, they been looking for A particle(A LIGHT). and they did, with that LIGHT, they are going to be creater, they are going to be destroyer and they are going to be maker,, NOW the question is this, IF YOU WOULD BE THE GOD, WOULD YOU GIVE THAT CHANCE TO THEM,, messiah

  • I like the explanation. Good video.

  • what sucks about this is that it can creat a dark hole hehehehhe hole

  • Wonder how would it be if all human processing power was working on science, instead of wasting it argumentations in nothing (gangs, wars, fights), something not useful (religion), something almost useful(politics) and other stupid sh*t.

  • @molinobeer Guess what, your were born way to early, we aren't at that stage, come back in about 300 to 400 years.

  • Fuck the starving people of the world.Lets build a fucking cern.

  • What is it with people and this crazy obsession this thing will make a black hole. If you guys want to go crazy over something then at least be productive about it, you guys cannot even hope to stop them from firing it so concern yourselves with something useful like green house gasses.

  • I don't get it.. what's the point?

  • @xxPurpleTurtle Well, it will explain everything...

isn't it kinda valueable to know everything?

  • Big bang. Who cares? Why not figure out how to get energy from that thing. figure out how to make it way smaller then travel the stars with such. That would be useful, not worrying about the big bang.

  • @Landotter1 In very long term it will be perhaps. Like the firm has vision statement, which may not seem relevant in short terms...but it still needs to be there. Just like that Physics as a discipline needs direction. I'm won't comment on right or wrong but getting more energy is only a narrow scope objective for Physics, even if relevant to the current situation

  • @chan625 I think I understand what you are trying to say but exactly what is the point of the "big bang" so what? What is the point of figuring it out? How will it benefit mankind? How will it beneft our understanding? Understanding of what? The company vision statement??? What is it and what for? Why is this project so damned important, that they would spend perhaps billions of dollars on it? WHY are they doing this? You don't just spend that kind of money and NOT get anything in return?

  • @Landotter1 Thats why I did not comment on right or wrong. Cause firstly not all scientist believe the World was born out of such event, as it seems like a one-of. rather they claim it would have been cyclic event. But if we learn some things about anti-matter or gravitons, it can certainly give a boost to the technology at hand (and I mean daily usable tech).

  • @chan625 OK, I can respect that... Thanks for explaining it! :-D Best wishes...

  • @Landotter1 ^^

  • STEINS;GATE

  • I'm new to this. Why the particles can only accelerate to 99.9% of the speed of light? Why can't it go beyond?

  • @jsphzhng something called the lsb light speed barrier the fastes particals in the univers are light particals only light can go at the LSB and going beond is therized to seusly fuck shit up

  • Why not..... they can contrôl thé weather now Why not thé big bang lol. This is all a game to thèm.

  • I'm the only idiot who kept thinking each ring was the biggest. Only for there to be a bigger ring lol

  • but what will happen if you get 'shot' by a single hidrogen atom going at maximum LHC speed? will you even feel it?

  • @sonofagunM357 Offcourse not. Well 1 proton doesn't create that much energy. Well if you want a better proportion.. it's that 1 kilo of antimatter if fused with matter would result in a total of 42Megatons worth of destruction. So even if you manage to create antimatter at that amounts easily, nothing big would change today. We need to learn how to create antimatter fast, in big amounts, how to compress it and how to storage and annihilate it properly. We are still 30-40 years behind that.

  • @ANimouz What do you think of using Helium 3 in nuclear power plants?

  • @sonofagunM357 it will be the most unpainful death if it hits you in the head, it will happen so quicly that you wont feel anything :)

  • looks like free energy to me why don't they use this to power the world ?

  • Spanish (Original).

Hola.

  • asshole idiots said that the world will end at 2009, 1954 etc etc. every one of them have failed. Don't believe trolls and don't feed them either!

  • i can not even the mathematical effort put forth into this project.

  • @TheDevasia caN NOT EVEN WHAT?

  • It has been like 2.5 years, it's not the end of the world people

  • Always this science/religion fight?

  • @ricois3 yes. this is youtube, stuff like this is mandatory

  • @ricois3 RHP Religions vs Science.Satanism is the only religion that doesn't conflict with science!Satanism wants people to elevate their souls and minds. So say RHP Religins vs Science ;)

  • Has anyone else noticed that CERN's company logo looks a lot like the mark of the beast?

  • @TheTallMan35 Yes it is!

  • so when are they going to stop talking about what it can do or what its done. and give us something juicy worth the billions and billions we dumped into it??? I mean so far from what I heard they anit found out much why is that with 400 scientest working with the ambitions Ive seen , hmm yad think something would of come up by now, I mean Hmm I guess this is a very very long thing in the making including..?? the data or info it gives out....??....

  • Is this similar to m t fesche's discoveries as found in his book Universal Order of Creative Matters ? Except without the chains of a monopoly against humanity?

  • Interesting research at CERN, however, the Paradigm of One solves the TOE and GUT not this experiment. Really good instruction video for those who have basic knowledge about CERN & some of their research. I'd love to see live the protons colliding! It's on my bucket list! :)

  • Are you people blind???

This is like a million atom bombs in m1 place... retards and everyone is cheering it .. unbeleivable..

not to mention that with this running they can PULL your essence or 'soul' out of your body and with mind preservation technology now revealled to be fact were so scrood..fools!

  • @madJedi1 Yeah, that immense amount of energy (14 TeV) can actually make a 15W light bulb glow for 0,0000001496 seconds

  • @jjj0369 14 TeV? A fly uses more energy.

  • This sounds like the new tech for fueling the next generation propulsion engines. There are a lot of energy particles after the collision and the fuel used is from a drop of Hydrogen :) Star Trek was not so fictional after all :D

  • excellent simplification of this device i found it interesting that there were cross over points were the collisions take place. i thought before this vid that it was just one tube and that sensors were every were in the tube. thanks for the info :)

  • boom! a new big bang, our universe is vaporized. smart little monkeys? there will be nothing in this universe to pass judgement on us, so why not? we are so responsible with nuclear energy,

    /

  • @rednxrule collisions like the ones produced in the LHC occur naturally all the time. The difference is that we're able to analayse it now inside a lab... that's all bibleshover.

  • @BalthazzarCH ...no need to mention "bibleshover" sweetie.

    play nice

  • @MightySaturn5 rednxrule played the anti atheist propaganda card... which has nothing to do with science or the LHC os anything, i know... i'm just returning a favor

  • @BalthazzarCH got ya, have a good day

  • @rednxrule 'A new Big Bang'? Obviously you don't know what you are talking about. No matter the likeliness in states and particles, there is no way. No way. That we can create a new expansion of space-time within an already expanding space-time, using nothing more then a hand full of particles.

Further, a particle accelerator and nuclear energy have nothing to do with each other aside from that you *could* power the former with the latter, but you don't have to.

  • @rednxrule new big bang? are you stupid? research a little bit before commenting something like this. the LHC is not trying to produce a big bang, they are trying to imitate the early stages of the universe (around 10^-35s). A big bang was an explosion they expulsed incredible amount of energy, that the radiation is still visible. You can't make such explosion with protons that are almost weighless (for humans) even if they are accelerated near the speed of light

  • "Well - did the experiment succeed ?"

"Nah dude, but this thing does burritos to perfection"

  • gjkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkgggggg

  • this can be made in to a super engine

  • Stupid Scientists.

  • This type of experiment may produce black holes, which is extremely dangerous to mankind. Once a black hole is created from the particle crash, the earth would be destroyed.

  • @cravatta20

A black hole created in the LHC can live up to some fraction of a second: a very short time to do damage. Do not be afraid!!

  • CERN's logo is 666 (look it up for yourself).

  • a friend of mine had a presentation of cern in school today. i didn't know what she was talking about, but after seeing this vid everithing is clear

  • You know...This project should be STOPPED because we're playing with fire.Everyday we discover something new...Soon...if this sh*t fires up...we may discover what would look like if the EARTH F**KING EAT'S HERSELF!YES the scientists have a lot of experience but the universe IS HUGE and hides a lot of DANGERS.Look guys.Im voting NO for this cuz even if there is a SMALL chance of failier. There is STILL a chance!I don't want a black hole in my backyard. Uh..i guess earth is doomed.Jesus pick me up!

  • I took a look at CERN's corporate logo. Has anybody else who has see it noticed anything peculiar?

  • Check out the "Oh-My-God particle" - an observed cosmic ray (probably high energy proton) with an estimated energy of from 50 to 100 times the 7TeV LHC levels. That was a screaming meemie :-) The particle was observed above Utah in 1991. It supposedly had the kinetic energy equivalent of a baseball traveling at nearly 100 km/h (60 mph). Not bad for a little ole proton.

  • @praheelie Nice article, though I think they should have made it more clear that the 'edge of the universe' they mean the observable edge as we can't know how large the universe is.

It's also fun to note that despite the 19 days perceived travel time, a lot more time would have passed for the rest of the universe, 6.0743 x 10^12 days in fact (16.6 billion years, older then the universe at the moment!)

Something which all space vehicles using Warp have circumvented.

  • @tiaxanderson Thats because spacecraft use Dh2-l71li41-synbro-11 instead of Aunt Bea's fried chicken (8-17T44;) in their respective fuel tanks, the circumnavigation that takes place is akin to a thousand hundred 20 something candles of raindrops keep falling on my head but that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red

  • @MightySaturn5 You are making no sense what so ever. Have you searched for the article praheelie mentioned? More importantly, have you read it?

It argues that a real normal particle is a far better interstellar traveller as opposed to the Star Trek space ships. However, time dilation ensures that the tiny amount of time travelled to distant places will be multiplied by three hundred billion (300000000000!) for the rest of the universe.

  • @tiaxanderson I'm making perfect sense however you are having trouble understanding why Dh2-171li41 is not as efficient in the fuel tank of a spacecraft as dumping a load of aunt Bea's fried chicken would be.

I know Any Grittith has become foolish in recent years however thats because by the time they started the color episodes of the show he stopped eating Bea's chicken and started combing his hair with that mind robbing gel Goober used. Don't be dumb (the B is silent)

  • Is that one second :p

  • Heart Like a Wheel Again

  • Heart Like a Wheel

  • lol

imagine our universe was a particle collider

  • Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!!!

  • curious, how long will this experiment complete?

  • what happens after it goes bang? O.o

  • Comment removed

  • can't belive it only takes six billion to destroy the planet

  • @TheYlsel1 how would this even possibly destroy the plannet? your fucking stupid

  • Right, now I understand the basic concept of a particle accelerator. But I still don't know why Hannibal Lecter is the one explaining it to me.

  • I find it ironic how mundanes fear things such as a black holes from a machine built by those who coined the term 'black hole' in the first place!!! "You cant turn that thing on! It'll make one of those hole things you told us about all those years ago!!" ...and now Im going to go finish eating my poptarts... excuse me!

  • Is it not clear that our "universe is a vibrating ring?

Why are we destroying so many universes for nothing more

than curiosity? It's clear that there are practical applications

for this device, such as using protons of increased mass to generate

electron flows while it is circulating. They could at least try to act

smart and make a profit from the energy that could be generated with

such a method. And trillions of pale blue dots would not have

    to perish as a consequence.

  • It 'll be land mark if they successfully produced the big bang. . .

  • i like how it all starts with a can of hydrogen gas. it would be funny if they fired up the whole thing and then realized they forgot to put the canister in!

  • @iansquared3

    Or used argon instead XD

  • are you crazy????

  • CERN... run BY ROCKEFELLER THE EUGENICS CRIMINAL SYNDICATE, how wonderful, all in the name of science and discovery.... NOT!!!

  • and i believe when Cern figures out how to Mircowave Gravity

they will create a black hole and then its over for all of us

  • @CreationPhotography I have no reply to make - your intensity of crazy is just too high!

  • Scientist= guys who cant make there wifes or girlfriends have organism more than once so they have to find somethen else else in life amazing to do perfect example 1:24-2:00 keep tht same rythym and go faster lol

  • big bang is a hoax

  • @CreationPhotography I would love to hear your reasoning for it being a hoax!
