Yes, yes. Of course Natal doesn't have the same background and origins as Skynet. Two things:

1) It's just a silly joke

2) It's implied that the Natal software is so intelligent that when it entered the homes of millions of people, it managed to gain control of all of these things.

So it's almost like a riff on the theme in Terminator. No matter how many things they alter, they are merely postponing judgment day. It is inevitable in some way or another. Even if it comes from an xbox ;)
