  • I never understood the tank scene when I first saw the movie when I was 10 years old.

  • Wow....Cranky Jesus, anyone though that the reason he got nailed to a cross was because of all the mirrors he broke?

No because....dun dun dun dun dun dun...Batman!!

  • wow.... that mess after the stalls were tipped would take long to clean up...

  • Many of you post on videos like these, and you have NO idea what you are speaking about. Why post on these type of videos? I don't understand?

  • boo jade!

  • "see my tounge i can hardly speak" well obviously you can

  • Jesus at the temple: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)

  • @gabicrowley That has got to be the funniest thing I've ever seen :D lol

  • @JesusBurnsInMe hahaha glad you like it! ;)

  • 2:15 - 3:24 Jesus Christ, superstar...

  • Look, it doesn't matter what you've read or what people have told you. The point is that Jesus looked in pretty bad shape when he died (obviously, having been nailed to a cross), but he was an awesome person and died to save everyone.

    Also love this movie :D

  • The point of the leper scene is that he can heal, but he alone cannot do all the work. In the original musical, he says he says "heal yourselves"

This has a double meaning; One cannot rely on Jesus' might to save them. They have to put forth initiative. There's more to Christ than believing he can save you. Same thing with Simon Zealotes: "I believe in you and God, so tell me that I'm saved." That's why Jesus gets upset at them. Just believing gets you nowhere. So much more to it than that.

  • devilgirrl66@ would it upset you to see what HE looked like, or not? Who really cares what you think with a nic like that, anyway! HE died for YOU too!

  • just funny what ppl believe that they read on the internet....

  • @Orion255RVB

Indeed they are, both are classics. I could watch them again and again and not get bored.

  • Eventhough parts of THIS movie were unsettling and disturbing, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST movie was a LOT more bloody and INTENSE. And I've been told that the REAL Jesus even looked a whole lot worse at the time of His death than when He was portrayed in THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST movie.

  • @Charlie19642018 Who would know this?!?

  • @devilgirrl66

ISAIAH 52:14.........."his visage was so marred more than any man..........

[ I got this from THE WORD OF GOD, not the internet. ] Who would know this ? Those who read God's word, that's who.

ROMANS 14:10 & 11..........for we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ.

For it is written, AS I LIVE, SAITH THE LORD, EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS TO GOD.

  • @devilgirrl66

[ And as you're doing that, maybe Christ will actually show you somehow just how marred (disfigured) He really was when He died FOR YOU. ]

  • Respond to this video..."and i've been told the the REAL Jesus even looked a whole lot worse...." ummm, who told you this, where did you hear this?? Oh, you've read somewhere.....well, i have read a whole lot of things...........

  • @Charlie19642018 how the hell were you told how he looked?

  • @Orion255RVB

The scene which unsettled me was when Jesus was whipped. Seeing this in the theater in 1973 at 9 years old caused me to start trembling slightly, even when after the movie was over. But, on the other hand, when the Bible describes the NEW JERUSALEM in Revelation, it's a BEAUTIFUL scene, a complete contrast to the whipping and the lepers. Not every Bible story is of something beautiful, yet not all the stories are ugly neither. LOL.

  • @Orion255RVB

I fully agree, in the movie Jesus wasn't able to heal the lepers, and He told the lepers to "LEAVE ME ALONE". In the Bible, He DID heal them, and if I recall, there were only 10 lepers. As for the imagery, from what I gather, leprosy was a very NASTY disease, I never SAW a real life leper, but I'm sure it wouldn't be a pretty sight. I'm so terribly sorry to hear that the movie scene had unsettled you.

  • @Orion255RVB

Just keep in mind that the story was through the EYES OF JUDAS ISCARIOT, the one who betrayed him, this isn't how Jesus truly was in The Holy Bible. : )

  • wow! Jesus went postal!

  • @rockxy4

Please keep in mind that the story was through THE EYES OF JUDAS ISCARIOT, the one who betrayed Jesus, this isn't how Jesus truly was in The Holy Bible.
