To be fair fellas. Why dont you stop being pricks and go to the otherside of the pavement when asked SEVERAL times politely to do so. If your gonna be twats about it, so are they. Patience eventually wears thin, and I'd done the same with you lot.
Fuck the police, they are there to maintain the 'elites' control over the public. Keep the rich people rich and the poor people poor. I say fuck YOU! Its time for a revolution folks, if you don't agree with me know, you'll agree with me soon. peace and safety for we have an interesting time ahead!
That was not obstruction. The officers at the strat politely asked for you (or whoever it was) to move back. And as you can see from the person who is filming this, they do not just turn around and move, they slowly walk back , making the officer ask several times. That motorcycle officer had probably asked the man to move several times but he had sontinued to point the camera in his face and move very slowly which is annoying.
Obviously it's not me, if you bothered to read the description and follow the link. Actually, they did step back but everytime they stopped it wasn't far enough. Then the uniformed guy changes his mind - first he ushers him up the road, then to the pavement. There's no law saying they can't film a copper either and officer 514 used the very same comment in retaliation. Just because it's annoying doesn't make it an offence and the police aren't the lawmakers.
Yes I would but if I was representing the law in public I'd show restraint and not resort to tactics that can and have been misconstrued as unnecessary or brute force. 514 obviously had the air of arrogance around him and it wouldn't surprise me if he had some personal issue with the way journalists operated. I can't say I like their tactics either but they aren't the people employed to serve us.
I assume an official complaint was made against this officer? If not, there is no right for anyone to complain about the state of British policing. If no one chooses to stand up and complain about their actions, they'll continue and it'll get worse. Before you know it we'll have riot police at every protest, plants within to turn it violent, mass arrests and removal of rights and freedoms, just like good old America.
If one was made, I'm sure the police swept it under the carpet, much like they've done in the past (I'll cite Jean Charles de Menezes as one classic case). Unfortunately, the police are getting more and more powers to act on their own agendas, taking them further away from protectors of the people and into the dark waters of controllers. Not enough people stand up and complain, Darren Pollard here on YouTube goes a long way to exposing their behaviour and does a good job but we need far more.

Ok,I agree on that, that he should have shown more restraint, especially when there are camera's everywhere.

@Chillin669 then see a lawyer and sue them for assault. He's not allowed to touch your property like that. It's totally unlawful.
