I agree about Archos' support sucking balls. I sent in my 605 back in July, took them 4 weeks to look at it, another 2 to tell me what needed to be replace, then another week to tell me they didn't have the part, and finally another 2 weeks to get them to send me a replacement. And then they sent it to the wrong address.

The best part was that they never called me, I always had to call them to see what the holdup was.

I use double sided velcro tape wrapped on my archos cam then i cut a size like the cam put it on my helmit one on top one on the side it works great

ive got the archos 504, BUT the camera is a hoyt-tech, ( kinda like a rally car camera, with ram mounts, and it works well. 'cept at night, quality is not what i liek . but decent) if you look at teh videos, i posted, all were recorded with the archos 504 and teh camera i described

Hmmm. Maybe just bad luck? I seen others making off road videos for youtube. Archos service was great for me when i dropped my gmini 402 in the toilet. Anyway, good review. Nice to see you take issue only with the cam and not the 504. I own 404 which is iPod killer regardless of its inferior sales.

The Archos itself is a quality product but the camera is just cheap cheap cheap....

Not following...what are you asking about the bike? BTW I don't have that bike anymore, I now ride a Ninja 650r

...a kodak v570 camera velcroed to the front of the inside of my helmet.  works great.

can you post a video on your setup.i have an archos 604 with the helmet cam, a sony bullet cam,and a cam corder. im not exactly sure of the setup your using but the sound quality it freakin awesome! if need be you can email me, just hit me up on here and i'll give you the address.
