Even though I don't have a pure bred springer spaniel (mine is mixed with border collie), my dog became my best friend the first day I got her. I love her personality and energy so much! :D I can't stop watching videos about this breed!

I have a Bluerone Springer Spaniel (she's field-type) and every time I come home she kind of jumps up on me and tackles me :D, but she always climbs me with her sharp talons for paws when I am petting her.

BTW she's sleeping like a Doe, how she kind of curdles into a ball, it melts my heart.

ive got a 10 month old springer called Dylan, he cant do anything like this, although he's mastered SIT, cocking his leg up and oh.. burping in peoples faces. he's a good boy :0)

i have an almost 2 years old english springer spaniel, mine is only a little bit darker, we thought he would be calm when his old, but he is still wild and hyper, we like him most when he sleeps :D

@cinemalego ahahah you'll have a hyper dog for more then 10 years or more :) My springer has 11 years old and still hyper specially when it comes to eat or catch a ball :) I can't imagine my life without him, once you have a springer you dont want any other type of dog for the rest of your life. I try to enjoy every single moment with him. Do the same! :)

this dog has lots of brown on him. Our springer puppy hardly has any brown on him, just a few dots of brown here and there with a brown blob on his side. He is mostly brown on his face, but the rest of his body has almost totally white fur.  Lol. He's still a very handsome puupy regardless.

no i have 3 they are VERY smart dogs, you can tech them almost anything. they love to please there owners. its just there energy, and boy do they have LOTS of it !

sorry about sam i know how you feel as i write this there are tears runing down my face our springer died easter sunday 2007 aged 12.i have 4 springers 2 our 1 year old and have pulled the garden apart.sophie is 11/ hannah is 13 and the two pups-molly&lydia and i still miss my sarah my mate. When my Springer pup used to bite I said, "No, Gently", and in the end its just teething so all you might have to do is just buy some chew toys...but believe me springers NEVER mean any harm, they are very affectionate and loyal. I have a Springer Bitch called Cleo who is nearly 3 years old and she is still a little playful.

My Springer as a pup learned very quickly (with scolding only) "NO BITING! KISSES!" It worked and even now, 13 yrs later, any time she nips all you have to do is say "NO BITING! KISSES" and she immediately obliges with stump wagging. Smart and sweet.

Springers are very interlligent and extremely easy to train. If a springer is dis-obedient then it is the owner that is the idiot, not the dog.

That's not true. I have 2 Springers. One is very eager to please and does whatever I say. The other one is actually really smart, a dog genius, but every time I give her a command she gives me this look which says, "You've got to be kidding." She only obeys when it suits her.

I agree. I had a springer, and he was not what you could really call a "nice dog." We bought him from a breeder, and neither of his parents (both champion show dogs) were "nice dogs."
