  • That game has the most magnificent soundtrack. Anyone know where I could get it?

  • At first, I thought the red dot was a laser pointer that would shoot and kill her. Am I damaged?

  • LAG!

  • That will be thoroughly boring to play. Lucas Arts, how about you stick to making Star Wars games?

  • Great to see the giant dick of George Lucas fucking indie games in the arse again.

  • i don't really like escort games

  • Super Tetris Girl

  • reminds me of lemmings

  • kinda cool

  • WOW Awesome how did you made this

  • The plot looks just like Alice in Wonderland, but Alice in Wonderland is actually good...

  • gorgeous animations, beautiful characters

  • Looks awsome!

  • Super Little Match Girl Bros.

  • i wanna die just from watching this trailer

  • It's like someone add Tetris in Limbo.

  • this kinda looks lame.

  • WTF is THAT!

  • Wait...this isn't Star Wars...

Are we sure Lucasarts is making it?

  • so it's like lemmings crossed with tetris?

  • reminds me of the first earthworm jim game, there was a level where you had to a purple dog to the end of the level without it taking damage or falling down pits.

think the level was called "for petes sake"

  • @pxdud I love Earthworm Jim! Well, the first one, anyway. I only made it to For Pete's Sake once though. That was back when vidya games were hard as hell.

  • Outstanding!

  • it has a nice mood and atmoshpere

  • She's dreaming and she can control her dream as well, that's why it's called lucidity

It's the state of being consciously awake while your body is asleep(Sleep Paralysis) I've been trying to do it for a while now.

    +1 so people can know.

  • @kamau329 Lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis aren't the same thing.

  • @tatermitts

Ah sorry, It's been a while.

  • Where can I get the music from this game!?

  • its not the same as amanita design.. :/ i'll have to keep waiting

  • 1:44 Poor Mr.snail can't go up the stairs he's all like, You crushed him! ima ge...oh wait there's stairs....

  • the beginning looks fab but the game play causes disappointment. If they changed the game play into stuff like Samorost, it'd be great! Anws, the music and graphics are excellent

  • @snowqueen93

I agree, the beginning had me captivated, thought it was going to be something really different...then suddenly it cut to the game-play, and I was pretty disappointed.

I think a large part of it was going from the lovely organic styles at the beginning to very blocky and ugly looking platforming; if the platforms were more organic looking and a pleasure to look at, the game-play might have looked more appealing as a result.

  • its like tetris mixed with platform game. cool.

  • @LacrimaLuciferi

Well you've got the Puzzle+Platformer bit down. You'll want to check out games like Lemmings, Marsupialami, or even the more recent, "Ivy the Kiwi?". The gameplay mechanic in which the player guides some "suicidal" NPC to a goal is an old, recurring concept. So if you enjoy this at all, you may find yourself in a whole new subgenre of puzzle games =] Although I would recommend Lemmings to begin with.

  • the art and animation looks great!! Doesn't look like a fun game though :/

  • looks retarded is waht it looks like, way to go old man

  • Looks bloody hard!

  • @chuckeieio Yes.

I would just get so stressed, frusterated and angry that i dont think it will be healthy for me to get this.

  • That frog is spanking it!

  • omg, I can't wait to play this.

  • Graphics and music are great, controls aren't excellent, but still acceptable. I can't imagine why reviewers got so frustrated.

  • I love the art style, but the gameplay looks kinda meh to me.

  • this is available for 2.5$ on steam only for today

  • I <3 this game. Too bad reviewers didn't like it. Oh well...fuck them.

  • I recently got this game. The artwork is gorgeous, the mood relaxing, the concept fun, and the story touching. The one major flaw in this game that I think caused all of the bad reviews was the game mechanics. Instead of mapping each piece to a button, you have to cycle through them randomly until you find the one that you want. This causes frustration because there are many times I died when I couldn't get what I needed in time. Other than that one flaw, this game is quite nice.

  • Depends on platform. I just didn't click with the Xbox control system - it's very clearly a "mouse" sort of game, y'know?

  • hmm I like the idea of this game, but I dont actually like the game play, if you could control the girl I'd probably consider buying it, however these kinda games arent for me

  • what, its not boring, its innovative, something new! you're a idiot, i bet you like halo and call of duty generic shooters.

heaven forbid a game developer trys something new.

  • haha your a child. grow up

  • im a adult and you're still a mouth breathing retard.

  • haha... later

  • something new, the art style, story telling, the music, you just have to watch the gameplay to see how she navigates the map to see its something new

yes its sort of like lemmings, id say influenced by it possibly but nothing more then a slight similarity

most games these days are just shit remakes of fps shooters, like mw2, halo, counter strike, its the same recycled shit because people dont like to think when they play games anymore,

i put it to you, sir, that you are the moron.

  • you probably suck at thoese .. go on play girly bitch jumper, leave rest alone

  • I like how you try to insult others while not being able to even form a coherent sentence

i play all different kinds of games fps, rts, rpgs.

you must be 12 if you think playing first person shooters make you more of a man lol

  • agreed. This game looks cool and different, doesn't look as good as other (none star wars) Lucas Art games though.

  • haha your mother has a fat bucket cunt you casual gamer. i bet you own a xbox lol

  • lmfoa "what kind of moron are you, you stupid fuck" hahahaha i laffed

  • laughed, Jesus Christ.

  • If u will wake up dont follow the red dot. Remember! xD

  • The graphics are awesome, but looks boring...

  • good game for our small children

  • Most depressing game... ever...

  • ha ha well the frogs look cool xD i think i go play fragon age or somthing now i rly feel for it

  • @AzureSN What about Limbo :P ?

  • @AzureSN Does she die horribly at the end or something?

  • @NiteX2 If you want spoilers, it's basically about her coping with her grandmother's death through a series of lucid dreams.

  • @AzureSN what, how

  • @kennykiller911 the ending was horrible, there was no bright side...

  • Looks cute and a little fun.

  • This looks boring.

  • So do you have to control the girl too? or does she move automatically

  • The girl moves by herself, the player just controls the environment.

  • It's like Super Mario Bros. + Tetris

  • Tetris+Lemmings+Sleepwalker mixed with some fancy graphics, and that's all. I don't know if it is brilliant or just impudent...

  • cool game

  • Side scrolling Tetris.

  • like shao khan always says: that was pathethic... hahahaha

  • Wash your mouth before quoting the Emperor, you weak pathetic fool!

  • dont make me laugh tool! muahahahah

its official you suck at life muahahaha!

    I WIN!

  • wow.. the artistic qualities put in this game are extravagant!

  • i agree

  • i like its 2d feel, yet theres great perspective and sense of 3d.. in a 2d...

which is nice.. ifu know wat im talking about ^^

  • seems adorable, but 9.99?

  • Why not ?

  • this game looks amazing. i'm jealous i didn't think of it first.

  • this game is spot on. If you haven't downloaded the demo, i recommend giving it ago. Theres something special about it, especially the soundtrack. The levels get progressively darker aswell. If you can see past its simplicity, you go to another place with this game.

  • The art is beautiful though it seems like it's not appealing to most gamers...

  • i LOVE it

    great job on everything..

    sound

    visuals

    gameplay

  • the artwork is really good but i think it would of been better if you could just move.

  • Totally agreed.

  • Downloaded the trial, loved the whole look of the game but I found it rather boring, its not really my cup of tea.

  • I definitely agree.

    Beautiful game though.

  • I played the demo, and for me, it's fun enough, but obviously the best stuff about it isn't the gameplay.

  • WOW..Beautiful game.

    I'll buy it today.

  • hmmm, looks like someone seasoned braid with a whole lotta tetris, and finished with that lovely visual appearance

  • All art and no substance. Looks like Lemmings only they randomly give you powers like in Tetris.

  • and how is that no substance?!

  • I stand by this it is baby's first Lemmings and for people too stupid to play Braid. The art style would be unique if every indie style game didn't try to go overboard with art at the expense of game play or just a glorified physics tech demo.

  • Not bad, this looks good.

  • Stupid name dude. This is looking good, love the art style simple but effective.

  • Reminds me of Braid kind of...

  • Agreed.

  • can you say tetris?

  • Has potential...

  • egad it a LucasArts game

    but it's not star wars

    :O

  • There are lots of non-Star Wars ones, they are some of the best in history too. Grim Fandango is a perfect example

  • ah forget point made

  • And, at last (excuse me for the previous off-topics) that LUCIDITY seems pretty interesting :)

  • Your mental

  • cant control what I feel

  • The art style, gameplay, and music has me totally pumped for this. Excellent job LucasArts

  • Amazing!

  • It's refreshing to see games like these coming out.

I agree with what a few said here, there has been too much focus on FPS games lately that companies have cut short on other genres for different tastes.

    Well done, Lucasarts.

    Now.....what about Battlefront III?

  • what about battlefront 3?

  • Awesome to see LucasArts breaking and redefining the mold once more! This looks interesting and VERY different. And different is good. Change is good. LucasArts, do more things like this plzkthx.

  • Lemmings + Tetris + Look Out Mr. Johnson = this. Groovy.

  • Nice visual style, gameplay looks like modified lemmings

  • I thought this was going to be good until I realized it was just a puzzle game.

Still looks unbelievably gorgeous though. Too bad the beauty is wasted though.

  • Looks cool.

What's up with the holier-than-thou speech? If you like this game: play it. If you don't like "generic" shooters: don't play them. Simple.

  • Looks great!

Run along kiddies, I think I see more generic soldiers and aliens for you to shoot...

More like this and Monkey Island remake please Lucas Arts and I'll love you long time.

  • I'll agree it looks boring (like lemmings crossed with Tetris), but it's better than the cookie cutter FPSes companies like EA pump out by the dozen...

  • Since when did EA become known for pumping out FPS games?

  • we know what he means

  • Modern Lemmings

  • Suddenly hating this game became cool because it comes from a widely known publisher.

  • Reminds me of Lemmings

  • odds87: God how much I disagree with this statement. Big bucks companies thinking that spending big bucks == a good innovative title is the sum of all that's wrong with this industry.

I applaud their deviation from the "It's a proven formula so there's no risk! Let's do it!" mantra.

  • I put decent in caps for a reason.

Put it this way: if big devs aren't going to make them, who is?

  • Hopefully nobody. Your DECENT games are really getting so boring to me. I really prefer playing a mount & blade than a crysis. Sorry :/

  • Well then stick to your Crysis and stop posting comments on a YouTube video for a game you don't like. Simple.

  • Wrong.

    Avoid shallow comments!

Point 1. Crysis has a heavy 3D engine, it needs a very good PC to work good.

Point 2. The game IS well-balanced, having a great playability.

Points 1 & 2 does not conflict one against other.

Games can be good to see, or good to play, or both.

That is the case of Crysis, brilliant to see and very good to play.

A big improvement compared to the poor Crytek's first Far Cry game.

  • Crysis is used as a benchmark and thats it.

  • I bet you never played it on a decent pc.

I hated the first Crytek game, Far Cry, because IT was a benchmark.

    Crysis isn't.

    Crytek learnt from their errors.

  • I have, gameplay didnt do anything for me.

Show me one crysis video where there isnt talk of specs and all that shit.

  • that means nothing.

The game is a symbol of extreme graphics, yes.

    Is famous for this.

But it has good potential in the gameplay.

  • To me it means everything. It may have potential, but I suppose in a sense I shouldnt be able to rate it since I just hate PC games in general.

  • If so, the discussion has no sense.

I recommend you to reconsider the PC world.

It isn't only an RTS/FPS boring bunch of games.

There are many Indie gems, like "And Yet It Moves", but at the same time very good commercial games like F.E.A.R. and Crysis and many others.

EVERY platform (is it a PS3, an X360, a WII or a PC) has his gems, remember it.

  • I dislike PC for many reasons, i'm not just saying it for fanboy related reasons.

While there are some types of games I like such as rts and I absolutely love diablo II, generally I just hate pc games.

I HATE the fact that you have to go buy specific requirements, when within the next week new stuff comes out. Consoles dont do that too me.

The most important factor to me though is comfort. I cant stand it because a controller feels like gold in my hands.

    Multiplayer experience is horrible

  • The race to the top hardware has finished years ago.

Isn't necessary to upgrade the PC every 6 months.

The entry level quad CPUs and cheap video cards can run Crysis without problems, I bought my PC 1 year ago at a cheap price, and it moves very good all the games.

  • The controller: for some games -action games, sport games- is better. For other games - race sims, beatemup a' la SF4, fisrt person shooters- definely not.

I prefer to play SF4 with an arcade-like Joystick; To play racing games with a wheel; to play the fps genre with mouse+keyboard. Play it with a joypard is a torture.

However, anyone has his predilection, there isn't a law of "RIGHT THINGS" or a "BAD THINGS".

  • Not trying to hate for no reason, but this looks soooooo boring.

  • Very coool!

  • cool

  • Oh wow! This looks like fun!

  • gay. jk

  • HUH? THIS is a game?

    !

  • So this is one of those "try to keep the moving person alive by placing objects in front of them" kind of games? Challenging, but I wonder how they're going to keep it interesting.

  • looks like fancy PONG to me.

  • didn't know that was a genre

  • ...After braid, seem like more Lucas commercial clones... I don't know, I hope they are on the right track.

  • seems like a trippy game

  • ХУИТА

  • I can NOT believe that LucasArts is finally going back to making games that are interesting and creative. It's about time.

  • i agree looks llike a good game but hard as heck

  • what system is this for?!

  • 360/ pc

  • Wow. Very cool. Looks like a mix between a traditional platformer and Tetris.

  • Wow this looks great

  • looks friggin hard jeezzz

  • Looks like a cross between Lemmings and Sleepwalker (an old Amiga game).

  • You genius - I'd forgotten about Sleepwalker. That's exactly what it's like!

  • Braid? Psychonauts? You pick.

  • that looks awesome !

  • I think this game looks so awesome.

    Thanks LucasArts
