This is MK doing a Leeds accent imo- which is where he went to uni and worked on Yorkshire Evening Post for a while. He worked places like The Fenton during that time and It was and still is full of fans of new stuff, and they always ask for badges, posters, stickers and t-shirts
Well, don't misunderstand me....bout what I'm gonna say....cause I'm a die hard fan of Mark for 25 years.... But honestly, Brian Setzer, in terms of Boogie & Ragtime picking, is a million miles away from Mark. No comparison possible.
Being a born and bread in the south, this is the epitamy of the north for me,this was my first introduction to dire straits and a b-side to a single ,before this song it didnt occur to me 7" had b-sides.brilliant song hadnt heard it since my brother moved out and took all his albums and stuff with him.gonna see wot else is out there.
I had this song a long time ago and I had forgotten about it till recently when I acquired it. It's like an impromptu recording of a jam session. The words always make me laugh. It seems like it's Mark's way of making fun of the guys that try and relate to the band.
Hey ... can I 'ave one o' them lagers? Thanks very much. S'great.
