The laker defense is designed to allow people to go baseline because one of the bigs come over for help defense. Kobe was playing more to the outside on purpose, so it was the big men's mistake here

@Sroek As the answer the maker of the video made says, moving your pivot foot a bit is called on by some refs but not others. Chances are Kobe did that at one point in his career. Chances are most players did it at one point of their career.
