Whenever you go in forward you don't go in the water straight. you're always curved. when you go in backwards you go in straight.. just something I noticed. you're really good. you have a good reverse twist.
some of those judges suck at judging. like on your reverse 1 1/2 that should have been 8 or higher but somone gave u a six. Thats why i hait it when a judge does not know anything about diving
lol i love high school judging (untill the reality check at club meets)and especially the scores on your back 2.5 twister...6.5's to 3's and everything in between. but your an awesome diver w/ lots of potential...good luck
Cool! I'm a freshman, but dive all year round too. Are your judges good wherever you dive high school? Some of the high schools I know of, people have gotten a 3, a 6, and a 9 on the same dive!
5 judges were scoring each dive out of a maximum score of 10 the higher and lower scores do not count but the other 3 scores are added and then multiplied by a "DD: degree of difficulty". easy dives (like a front dive has a DD of 1.3 while a reverse 1 1/2 in pike position has a DD of 2.4.
the judges are supposed to look at the approach, the hurdle, the jump, the position in the air and the entry in the water. usually inexperienced judges focus their attention mainly on the splash
You have an AWESOME rip. Try getting more height though

Those judges hooked you up a little. =) But that doesn't mean you're pretty damn good! Just don't let those high school judges get at your ego.
