I think as far as the cutting edge movies go, the first one is definitely the best one. It had good actors, believable atmosphere and actually took into consideration the real rules of ice skating. This one has an interesting plot, but in my opinion the acting could have been a lot better. A good effort nevertheless, but nothing beats the '92 version!!

Love the movie...but they don't use that scoring system anymore in skating or use lights during a competition because it distracts the skaters...overall a really good movie though

They need to bring the old scoring system back. The current one is dumb -- you can't tell which judge voted what or get a decent sense of how their strengths and weaknesses affected the scoring.
