  • Nice job, love when you can find different uses for equipment.

  • duuud - make a movie --> scarre the crap out of ppl!!!!

(after i hit "post" i will chet if you already did some movies!!)

    ;)

  • @VideoStefan17 I've made about 6 short films over the last couple years. Have used this apparatus in 2 of them. One of which was an official selection in the Anchorage international film festival this last december and it screened great! can't post it online because I'm submitting it to more fests. But it was used in some of the other quicky online stuff :) thanks!

  • I sprayed a bit of pam cooking spray on the rails so it's really pretty quiet and this helped the traverse as well. I wasn't interested in using it tho with the in cam mic. We used it in a film that ended up being an official selection to a film fest.We placed the mic on a boom so noise wasn't an issue. either way, the cost of using what I have, which is pretty much my motto, worked out very well! thanks!

  • Hey... wow...that looks really good... I think it needs to be geared so it would track a little smoother. Does it make much noise during rhe transverse?

  • and by the way, the music is fucking creepy lmao

  • @lambowang It's no light slider ! lol, It's certainly not for the tripod I'll tell you that. I have a variety of other sliders and dollys etc that I use but this has still worked nicely on a number of occasions. The music...yeah, I do horrors :)

  • How heavy is that thing?

  • lol

  • meh

  • sorry, I can't translate. english is my speaking language. but there's not much to translate. I think it's pretty self explanatory. Thanks for viewing

  • es una lastina que sea solo en ingles, por f

    avor traduscan al castellano gracias

  • cool stuff but too big and bulky. check out my $5 slider for DSLR and other small cameras.

  • @defnyung big and bulky :) well, It has worked well for me, at zero cost and was something I had around using not at all. I think it's a high improvement over what I was using before=nothing ;)

  • really sweet!

  • I used it recently for the short film "A Good Tip" (posted as a link in the video responses to this video)

  • Yeah, mine was dusty too. much cleaning 1st, and lubricate the rails too.

Bolting it isn't always necessary but it helps when you want to position the thing other than level.

  • Great idea. I've got one gathering dust in my shop!

  • That looks like a great solution! how much does it weigh? What about mounting it to a tripod (or two). Thanks for sharing,

  • nice one mate
