  • OMG that's the guy in the blues lounge in the 80s movie, "Adventures in babysitting" I didn't know he was an actual singer!

  • He was a Beast...No one can ever touch that tone.

  • yep thats right he went to blues heaven...the great jam in the sky...he's there right now jammin with the rest of 'em....they're waiting on us all......

  • Somebody said blues is the only true music. With me, it feels like a tie between blues and bebop.

  • Wow wow wow

  • oh my god ... im so happy to be alive and listen to this

  • I have been a fan since the 80's but still get chillbumps listening to this.

  • So nice!!!...

  • Not many Blues Slingers in the history of the blues can lay it down the way Albert does!! Tab Benoit does this song justice as well!

  • While Albert was alive me and my brother saw him a several times in the Netherlands and spoke to him was a warm and tender man. After he died I wrote with his wife Gwen Collins and Bruce Iglauer from Alligator Records.Gwen was such a tender woman and Bruce told me that he left Gwen in good order behind after he was go back home to Blues Heaven. Thanks for posting man

  • One of the things i remember from my childhood is my fathers recordings on cassette of Hovigs Hangar: A Norwegian blues radio show, and the one song i still remember (this goes back to the beginning of the nineties) is this one. I remember the introduction by Geir Hovig: The Lights Are On But Nobodys Home, Albert Collins. So this is my ultimate blues favourite song.

  • One of the BEST TRACKS EVER!!!!! Albert should be in epic legends like Hendrix. There is zero doubt about that. Hendrix is great but they play his stuff way to much. Albert is very very very rare breed of great music.

  • @musicfan088 ... I read an article in a magazine that said that Albert Collins was Jimi Hendrix's idol.

  • Albert best slow blues player, the most original and entertaining !

  • the man never wasted a note..

  • Awesome ! Thanks for uploading.
