Lol @ you using "patterns" in every response you make, and lol @ you hiding behind these shitty techniques instead of responding honestly to ZRadach's comments. The issue isn't that you're failing at manipulation but that you look like an absolute fool by using NLP so excessively. I agree that you severely overvalue the effects of NLP and that's ok; not everyone has smart friends, or hangs around with smart people. @ZRadach, you're right. It's called changing the subject.
You are right I am demonstrating patterns in all that I do and you are correct in recognising that I am known for doing exactly that. I like the way you use the same pattern back to make a personal attack and am wondering what it is motivating you for this. You don’t see any value then go and find something that has value for you, might find that more productive than attacking me. Hope you find the patterns in this one more interesting…and it is still changing the subject.
I was mad, but you probably knew that. It feels quite dysfunctional responding to your message after what I said, but since I'm sat here on the internet protected by my anonymity, I'm doing it anyway. Being productive isn't my strong point when I'm streaming youtube, and neither are my mannerisms. I'm not here to make amends, I just want to point out that I've read your Persuasion Skills Black Book (if you're Rintu Basu), and I like the way you eloquently handled my assholery. +1
Wow, whilst I agree you don’t need to make amends and I don’t have to respond. But I feel like I want to let you know how impressed I am with what you have none. In essence you have examined your belief system in a way that has allowed you to change when you started out quite publically in the opposite direction. Not many people have that strength of character. Thanks for doing it and for letting me in to see it.
Great start to covert persuasion techniques, as you get better at it you can do it to people after breifly meeting them and using conversational methods.
@ZRadach@ZRadach@ZRadach Matt's character is being sideline and he uses a particular pattern..."The issue isn't (x) it's (y)..." to bring them back. The officers have to pull rank to avoid the trap. But the senior officer lets him speak and uses a variation of the same pattern back at Matt's character. He has no choice but to move on. Even if scripted these are good examples. The link in the info above will give you more detail.
@ZRadach I can see how you might think that and that is the beauty of patterns like this. The issue is not how simple they seem but how easily you can use them to shift the direction of the conversation to where you want it to go. You can find out a lot more about how to do this when you read the article.
@thenlpcompany I still don't see how we aren't talking about the same thing but just giving it different labels.
Like, how lots of NLP I have seen it just "psychoneurological assosication management in realtime" just in a more crowd-friendly wording (NLP... it's catchy and makes sales... people tend to ignore "nerdy" sounding words/concepts... regardless of them being the same exact thing)
also, I did visit the link
your page could use some simpicity; it's an overload; info is best in chunks
@ZRadach Never heard of "psychoneurological association management in real time" but it sounds very impressive and if that is what we are discussing then I am very proud. I agree you don't seem to be able to detect the patterns and that is okay, not everyone gets it. It might be you being overloaded with information. All it means is that it is not the best thing for you to be looking at. The issue isn't about having to find the patterns here but finding the things that work for you.
