  • @foxxbabyy - The guy who was driving said it was an awd TT. I can't confirm the AWD but I know it was turbo'd. As far as the rest of your ignorant response, not worth my time.

  • that wasnt no all wheel drive tt movin that slow, im sorry, but nahh my es is runnin 13s, so this video is complete bullshyt, aha mustangs aint even fast, only ones that got any type of speed are the 2011 5.0s ,68 Gt350, Roush 424r & the Shelby Gt500 Cobra

  • @foxxbabyy Why is their always stupid comments like yours ON EVERY DAMN VIDEOS...?? Mustangs are far from being slow you ignorent douche bag. With very few good mods it becomes a monster AND it looks 10x better than your ugly looking piece of shit!!

  • great race, at what rpm's did u launch urs at? mines auto to and i was wondering cuz i wanna hit the trac but i wanna find the right rpm range first. thanks for the suggestions.

  • @slaopez91 In this video, I was launching around 1200. Any more and I'd just spin the tires. You really have to test higher and lower to see what the track will hold and weather conditions will allow.

  • damn good race but would of been even closer and better if the guy in the stealth knew how to drive lol

  • awd didnt do too mush for ya there eh dodgibishi?

  • Woa-hooo!!!

  • What gears?

  • Sweet! ;)

  • I have a stock GNX sitting in my garage. Dad passed it on to me...... My buddy's '87GN with a chip, better exhaust, pulleys, intake, and a tune ran 11.88, and could run within those numbers all day. On top of that, GNs and GNXs have auto trannies which makes it even more unique.

  • Wow, a modified 06 Rustang, i mean mustang won against a stock Dodge Stealth TT. Not impressive at all.

  • The time is whats impressive not beating a stealth dumbass. This is an all motor automatic mustang with little mods running high 12s and this maybe isnt even his best run.

  • Hmm, not very impressive. Take a Grand National with the same amount of work done to it as this mustang, and see what happens. Take a LS1 with the same amount of work done to this mustang, and see what happens. This mustang isnt impressive at all... Dumbass.

  • Takes less money to do it to the stang, And Grand National only runs around 270bhp and takes alot more modifications to make power. Sure an ls1 may be faster with these mods but figure that ur comparing a 5.7 to a 4.6. These cars truely are fast for their displacement. If you want to argue that gm is better at making power look again. Ford has always made just as much hp per liter as gm.

  • GNs are no joke. They're very easy to obtain power, have cast iron blocks, which means they can withstand the abuse. And thats all with a 3.8L v6 with turbo. GNs were competeing with Ferraris, and other sport cars in its time, since it was able to outrank the vettes of the same year. And even today GNs are still being respected and have a good reputation. Mustangs will NEVER compare to a GN.

  • They were in their day, you obviously own one or know someone that does that you stick of for them so much but they are in the past. Any modern V8 has more potential and most v8s today use cast blocks aswell. Mod for mod the newer mustang has more potential than a Grand National.

  • No it doesnt take less money to do it to a stang, GNs were underrated by the factory at 240bhp not 270. 270 hp were the GNX. Stock GN does mid to low 14s on the 1/4 mile, there were records of some hitting high 13s. Took awhile for Mustang GTs to finally reach the 13 second mark. You could spend about 3 grand on a GN and its already hitting 500 hp. And thats good enough to be doing high to mid 11s with slicks.

  • Wow.....5 pages of negative b.s. towards the guy for going 12's N/A. Fucking get over it., no one cares about a stealth or if your friends car is faster.

  • Wow.....5 pages of negative b.s. towards the guy for going 12's N/A. Fucking get over it., no one cares about a stealth or if your friends car is faster.

  • this sucks u must be broke now

  • you must have a slow lt1

  • i run 13.4 on street tires shit head

  • this guy ran a half second faster than you and you're hating. and where's your video, shit head? Or are you magazine racing an ls1 when you own an lt1?

  • my car is stock also fucktard

  • All these kiddies like to see their civics and gay little hatchbacks win. They can't handle old school kickin the shit out em

  • how is a awd twin turbo v6 in the same class as a civic? stock for stock its faster on the 1/4 mile than a mustang gt...

  • its funny you have to put lots of money in this car to make it fast i could buy a sub 10 3000gt for 15k and a stock mustang gt cost way more get real with your self muscle is out turbo is in, and if he had as much money invested in his car as you do yours it would even be fair for you sorry this video sucks bad

  • Dude... that mustang only has $1,300-1,500 in performance mods on it... if that.

What's sad is that V8 muscle just obliterated a car that weighs less, has twin turbos, and AWD. This video rocks.

  • An Stealth R/T turbo (like this one) is heavier than a mustang GT. If you don't believe me, look it up. You do also realize that for under $1,300 you can make a stealth TT over 400hp, right?

  • weight of stealth r/t turbo- 3671 to 3792 lbs (depending on year)

weight of 2006 mustang gt - 3450 lbs

  • mustang are closer to 4000 lbs.

  • If by closer to 4000lbs, you mean 3500lbs even, you're right. Multiple sources list a 2006 mustang gt right at 3500lbs. The GT500's are close to 4000lbs, with the convertibles being even heavier. Facts are facts though, and that's what the car weighs.

  • In any case, an AWD Stealth is definitely 200-300lbs heavier than an 06 Mustang GT. It's common knowledge that the 3000gt VR-4's and Stealth R/T TT's were extremely heavy. Mustang GT- 3500lbs, Stealth TT- 3700-3800lbs.

  • yea dude that that 1,500 into the stealth and it will smoke a cobra

  • dumbass the mustang has more than $1,500 in parts to make it run a shitty 12.9 lol sounds more like another 10k.

  • CAI/ Brenspeed Tune = $600

    BMR LCA's = $135

Front Swaybar Delete Kit = $130

Corsa Axlebacks, which don't add any power = $775

    O/R H Pipe = $130

    Grand total = $1,770

    Dumbass.

  • all that didn't make it run 12's, those gt are slow as fuck, you need way more than 2k to make it run those times

  • yeah your fag do hate cause your piece cant run that. you probably drive a slow ass ricer.

  • i drive a camaro faggot, so fuck u

  • lol thats worse

  • what do you drive? probably a grocery getter buick lol

  • Obviously a mustang if i was defending a mustang.

  • GM is garbage thats why they went bankrupt

  • I'm a chevy guy... but go fuck yourself, honestly

  • and I'd love to see a 285 horsepower lt1 run 13.4 like you said. I like your video too, shit dick

  • agreed obviously a mustang enthusiast trying to reassure himself

  • fakyuba,

You have no taste. Your Neon is just about the most ugly looking car ever. Good job, mo.

  • WOW!..Good job man!

  • no prob bro i have an auto stang also and know dam well wut they are capible of nice ride u did a hell of a job the track

  • wtf is wrong with u all i ran bone stock 13.6 with basic modds like this stang 13.1 and 13.0 is common with the right weather 12.9 is easy to believe stop bein assholes, its on video for christ sakes. who cares about the fuckin stealth this vid is for the stang the heck wit the other car and its time. The point is this guy is showing us his stang and the great time he ran.

  • Thanks man.

  • Quit whining jesus you make this mustang owner sound like a charity case....

  • The mustang was lightly modded to run a 12sec 1/4... im sure he was on a set of DRs as well. Anything can beat anything when modded. I want to know what the Steath TT ran..then you can tell if it was the car or the driver of the car

  • I was not running DRs here. I was on street tires. I listed my mods in the description. I have updated videos with the same mods but with 4.10 gears and DRs in which I ran 12.6s at 107 and 108mph.

  • First off I Own a 2007 GT with the EXACT same mods as you, so I know what it can do. I blow the tires off in 1st and 2nd with 4.10s and street tires. Plus you have an AUTO. what was your 60ft? and only .3 improvement with DRs come on...not buying it. But if you really did run it..congrats

  • Sorry didnt see that you have factory gears during that run..and installed 4.10s later. So now I really find it hard to believe a 12.9 on street tires...but you may have some magical mineshaft air where you are...its possible...people have done it...but with an Auto and no stall converter your 60ft will suffer and you dont have enough on the big end to make up for it...trust me I know

  • ahh its also only fair I list my mods...

JLTII, XCAL2, Bamachips Race tune, UPR Sway bar delete, 4.10s, UDPs, CMCV delete plates, O/R X, Stinger mufflers, CHE LCAs, CHE anti-squat brackets, PMP line locks, Hurst shifter, BFG DRs But honestly if you ran those times on street tires congrats... Here in Tulsa Ok thats a stretch on stock rubber and we have great air here

  • Yeah, this run was on street tires. My 60' was 1.945. I launched at 1200 rpm. Anything above 1200 would give me big spin and bad time. The weather was in the low 70s with little/no wind. I'm at sealevel in Houston, TX. With just LCAs, UDP, and swaybar delete I ran a 13.50. In similar weather I ran a 13.007 after the C&L CAI + Bama 93 race tune. This 12.95 came after I added the off-road H pipe.

  • The reason I probably only dropped 3/10s with the 4.10s and DRs is because I'm limited to launching at 2400 rpm (stock TC). I also haven't used DRs very much so I'm still figuring out what air pressure and launching technique works the best. My 60' on the 12.61 was 1.860.

  • It depends on what Drag Radials your using. I am using the BFG Drs and starting my air pressure at 18PSI and usually move it down to 17psi once I make a few passes (its always a good Idea to recheck your air pressure after a few runs, the tires get warm and tend to go up in PSI, so you will have to lower it again. I lauch around 4000Rpms and slip the clutch on take off. This should improve your 60ft times. As you get better you can go up a little in RPMs on launch

  • Wait just saw your an automatic...so rasing your RPMS is not an option. A stall converter would definitely be something to look into. Also since you are an auto a semi slick would help you out with traction...possibly a MT Et Street Drag radials...they are BI-Ply and crinkle just like a slick but wont break your rearend.

  • A 3200 stall may be in my future but not for a while. I have MT ET Streets (bias-ply) now and are what I ran the 12.65 on).

  • This is a bunch of BS. Just the other day I beat a GT with no problem. If that stealth had TT and AWD, it would have been a massacre.

  • What year GT and was it modded? The driver is the one who told me it was TT and AWD.

  • I'm not sure exactly on the year, but I know it was the newer model. It might have been modded because it was LOUD as heck, but all that noise still wasn't enough to take me down ;-)

  • Noise can be had on a stock GT with an off-road H-pipe...it'd still be a mid-13 second car. If it was a manual then you can't compare your race to this one at all. I beat a 2007 Shelby GT-500 at the track due to his lack of traction and inability to drive...am I going to go around saying all lightly modded GTs should be able to beat lightly modded GT-500s?? Hell no...that'd be ignorant.

  • there was no way that was a TT stealth they are pretty fast and have about 20 more HP and torque than a GT and they are lighter there is no way

  • a TT Stealth is lighter than a Mustang?? wow show me a reference on that one.

  • this is BS, I have a stealth and just the other I beat a GT with no problem. Bad driver if he had TT and AWD.

  • BTW that mustang is modded. The stealth stock runs 13s NOOB!

  • Why are you calling me a "NOOB"? The driver of the stealth told me he should have been running very low 13s. I never said my mustang wasn't modded...I gave you the damned mod list. Dumbass.

  • for real a 06 mustang shouldnt beat a s turbo even the GT

  • people make all these reasons why the Stang lost.

    1. Mustangs are the SHIT

    2. Winning is winning

  • in number 1 take out the "the"

  • i agree; Mustangs are shit.

  • you are shit.

  • I spoke to the driver. It was a TT and wasn't driven well (AWD should have chewed me up off the line and run in the really low 13s).

  • the stealth was either an just and r/t non turbo, or a TT with a bad driver

  • That mustang SUX

  • what was the times genius

  • See title: I (the Mustang) ran 12.950. I think the TT Stealth ran high 13s or something in there.

  • Excellent time for an auto. What I am shooting for.

  • your shooting for 12's? aim a little higher buddy, like high 10's

  • I don't have the money it takes to have and keep a 10-second street car. I'm perfectly happy with a mid-12 second street car. The mods list I have for this car only has 1 or 2 more things on it (1-piece aluminum driveshaft and LTs).
