@aznsweetie2009 Let me correct your mistakes. Miao and Hmong are the same word and same meaning. There are no difference between them. The chinese word for Hmong is Miao Zu (苗族). English word for Miao is Hmong. For instance, the word "flashlight" is used in American English, on the other hand, England called a flashlight a 'torch'. Same meaning, don't u agree? "...half of them...are in Laos.." ??? Again, I disagreed with you on that too. Not even half are in Laos. China has the most Miaos.

If Hmong is a tribe then what do you label "Dai", "Dong", "Manchu", "Yi", "Yao", etc..? You should do a little bit research, girl. No offense but just stating out the facts. You should visit Guizhou Province in China. There are plenty of Hmongs or Miaos that speak different dialects. Not all Hmongs or Miaos belong in Laos.
