Alan Silvestri did a great job. Although I like Jerry Goldsmith's work on the first film, the sequel's soundtrack has a high-energy 'epic' sound. I love the layers of rhythm with full orchestra and choir.

Wonderful theme! Anyone who likes this theme should listen to "King of Kings" by Miklos Rozsa, they're so much alike! Not surprisingly so since Rozsa was a master of desert adventure score and was a big inspiration for Silvestri.

I have the soundtrack and I listen to it all the time. I don't know how to post it on youtube as proof but I guess the only thing I can tell you is buy the soundtrack when you have the money and that's about the only way I know to go about proving it.

i have heard this track you talk about - you cannot compare that track with this video - they are 2 different tracks. This video containsd music that does not appear on the OST. There is however an alternate version of this video-theme on the OST. BUT it is not the same track - listen to the music and use your ear and you will hear there is a huge difference. The first two Mummies pwned, but the 3rd one was really below average. Not only because Rachel Weisz wasn´t in it, but probably because there are already much better HK made movies about Chinese history and mythology.
