  • ///MPowered S85 Doesn't Like to be Behind ☻

  • This guy needs mono wipers

  • great run

  • its awesome to hear how V10 engine sounds with manual gearbox

  • loved when it stepped on it. sounded so good. nice video.

  • Sounds like E39 M5 inside it! :D

  • @maikibiker66

    lol?

    not a bit

  • I congratulations! brutal

  • stuppid face :))

  • dun this my self

  • did u have to replace the transmission /gear box as well once engine was in place or u kept the old gear box from the e30? im sure u had to do some mods to fit in the radiator and other systems as well..

  • @MrDemolitionman99 hahahaa keeping the old gearbox hahaha you are very funny :)

  • This is the v10 in this car

  • old cobra against this bmw

  • so is stock straight six 2.5 pretty fast with turbo?

  • How would this car do with nissan gtr even though i know the answer lol fassst bmw.

  • check this v10 m3 on m5 boards you tube page. Its almost unbeatable. Even heavily tuned turbos of all sorts are struggling to keep up with it.

  • Who won? The bmw or the bmw

  • how much did the engine swap cost?

  • Who"s the four eyed freak filming it?

  • Your speedometer likes cocaine, doesen't it?

  • @kregzdeM3 mine must too

  • @kregzdeM3 Yeah, cocaine is a HELLUVA drug

  • You redlined that too the max,not good

  • @BAwithBALLS the M3s redline yes but not M5 E60 Engines redline...........that ones ends over 8200rpm something

  • that e30 turbo easily owned viper srt10....

  • e30 i v10 to power perfekt

  • gay, video tape the opponent not the fregin tach. fail

  • video tape the race?

  • what's that orange key looking thing?

  • Killswitch.

  • Turbos can be impressive and are a smart way to increase engine power, but they're less driveable than good NA engines (such as this V10). This engine is so smooth- no sudden surge of power (well, no unexpected surge of power lol)

  • *cough* Single Turbo Supra *cough* lol

  • at 0:49 ET speaks

  • @georgekanzy yop your right

  • @georgekanzy looool

  • GOOD

  • can't imagine who would still want a turbo in their car after watching something like this... n/a is better in every way, especially when it's an m engine...

  • I won't argue that these cars are bullshit fast, because they really are, and I really love them, but N/A is inferior to forced induction in pretty much every way.

Even BMW has realised this - the next M3 will have a turbo straight six rather than an N/A V8.

HP for HP, turbo motors are smaller, lighter, use less fuel and generally have more torque than N/A motors.

  • raliability :) but v8 are much stronger thant strait six

  • Depends on which V8 you are talking about. 2JZ are almost impossible to break, the ford 4.0 (from Australia) is pretty damn tough too. Windsor/cleaveland V8s with factory blocks are comparatively very weak. Can't remember at what power output most LS1 owners change from alloy to cast block, IIRC it's somewhere less than a stock 2J :)

1UZFE are apparently quite strong but are a small capacity for their physical size, making packaging a problem.

    Regardless, Boost > N/A, Period.

  • @dartasweideris - how stronger a motor is depends on how stronger parts are used. A factory 6cyl turbo will have forged piston, rods, crank, etc, so it will be reliable and can be tuned hard with original parts, but a V8 NA can't withstand such abuse without full rebuild.

  • you are right

  • for example ferrari :) NA not even thinking about forced induction :) e39 m5 5.0l v8 is cpable of 700hp with 75k miles guarantee :) and it is NA engine witch is used by ascari. NA cars is awesome. Turbo is very easy to put, but to make strong Na car is hard :) because it is masterpiece!

  • The Ferarri F40 you probably know had a Twin Turbo V8 and is one of their most beloved models even so many years after it was made. More so than the NA F50. What you say may be true...but to make a smooth, powerful, drivable turbocharged engine is surely a more remarkable feat than with an NA engine. Mostly because after a certain point all you are doing to the engine is making it less efficient with all the power gains. While a turbocharger keeps down weight and allows for efficient power gains

  • I agree....speed is not everything... I remember choosing the vr6 over the turbo.and...now the inline 6 of the e90

  • people who cannot afford to pull a v10 out of an $80,000 car will usually choose to go the turbo route. Not everyone has the time, money or know-how to swap this motor. There are plenty of turbo e30's that could keep up with this car. Search BMWSOB, hes running in the 9s with an m52 turbo

  • @inurkiewicz Are you for real mate,N/A are crap and arent worth the original price tag, there is a substitute for cubic inches and its called a TURBO.

  • lol look at the damn speedo it going nuts

  • dude people think their all bad ass cause they redline shit..hes a fucking saint

  • is the m3 v10 standard i mean the engine or?

  • no its not, its taken from a M5.

  • i ment if it's a standard m5 motor or is it modified

  • The best and faster M3 that i sow on Youtube !! Nice done ;-)

  • ///M-Power

  • "de gick okey"... kul kille :P

  • Helvete vad den går!

    Johan har verkligen lyckats

  • Note that the speedometer freeks out at 260. Later recordings with a GPS regiistered 280 something.

  • 288 km/h på GPS faktiskt.
