Okay, let’s look at a sample problem; Suppose we’re given a computer with 16-bit virtual address and a page size of 256 bytes. The system uses one-level page tables, that start at address 0X0400. Maybe you want to have DMA on your 16-bit system, who knows? The first few pages are reserved for hardware flags, etc.

Assume pagetable entriies have 8 status bits. The 8 status bits would then be? Anybody? :P

@TheEmeraldFlash Mm, there are a couple tracks that have grown on me, like the one when they meet with Sean in the restaurant. I think it's "Magnetic". I also don't mind "In Motion" and "Eventually We Find Our Way". But I think that's as good as it'll get with me...I like those a little bit, but I just can't love them. >.<
