@fluidgrace I wasn't sure so I did a google check and found this:
English Daisies are edible however are not tasty. They are said to have a bit of an acrid taste. On that account farmers say neither cows or insects will eat the English Daisy flower.
yeah, once that egg plant get it's groove on, don't blink because they can go crazy with growth on you. I love growing them because you virtually don't have to do anything with them once they get going...take care
@wmkk808 I was thinking the same thing, but I've yet to get anything but awesome leaf growth...too much Nitrogen? Not sure, but the flowers will show up one or two at a time, then just dry out and fall off. Maybe it's the heat? Could be the african painted bugs?
@ArizonaAdventures mine did the same thing in the beginning, I use the alaskan fish fert 0-10-10 every three weeks or so after the plant got a bit bigger, just for that little boost. but my egg plants love that fish fert either way though even the nitro boost 5-1-1 I use that once a month, just to keep the leaves healthy and green.
@wmkk808 Good to hear. Sounds like we use very similiar fertilizers, I made a video on what I use if your interested called something like "my organic fertilizer recipe" or something like that. I'll keep checking on it and let you know how things are progressing.
We have 3 growing, and I have no idea what campanion plants work well, but we have them near tomatoes and a row of corn. They seem to do really well in this heat.
@herbprophet oh thats cool. I have a couple books with companion plant/flower/herb suggestions, I'll letg you know what works for us. I'll look for your harvesting video when you make one hopefully.

great camera work getting that blossom close-up!
From what I've read and been told, Okra love the heat. Hopefully you'll still get some pods too.
