If weed actually affects your performance post high, then your work would reflect it. A lawyer gets caught snorting coke? Check his performance. Has his work been declining? It hasn't!? Well then obviously the drugs aren't a problem. If, however, you find that drugs are affecting performance, then give them a chance to sober up and test them.

Its a shame that prop 19 wasn't passed, once pot becomes legal it will benefit the US in so many ways, crime will go down, the economy would be overly stimulated, more jobs would be created, I mean, people are doing it anyway while its illegal, if the government was smart they would tax on it like they do cigarettes and since it doesnt kill people, they would probably even make double the money then they do now with alcohol and cigarettes.

@Dj7baylum in other words it supposedly kills brain cells when actually what happens is that cannabinoids (the safe chemicals in marijuana that give the sensation of being high) attach to your neural receptors slowing the flow of different chemicals that pass information in your brain.Right of the bat this does make it harder to think, multitask, and use your memory, but in the long run this stimulates the neural receptors causing new growth in the cells. Newer more accurate
