  • I love this song ..... And yes Jesus Christ is the one ..,. Amen amen praise be brother bless u :)

  • This song perfectly describes the love God has for us:) truly amazing.

  • I heard this song playing over the speakers inside a Chick-Fil-A near Baltimore.

For that small moment, I felt like I was on an island of peace in an ocean of chaos.

  • Youtube should put a new option so we can actually see who "dislikes"

    Jus sayin.

  • i miss peter. he needs to come back, tait needs to reunite with toby.

  • SOMEONE PLEASE get this song instrumental! -Don't get me wrong, the song with lyrics is good and I love this song, but instrumental would be SO cool!!! :D "You hold the weight of this world, still I don't slip through Your hands!"

  • 4 people were so pumped up by this song, they couldn't concentrate and they misclicked!

  • The bell in the song is full out of tune, thru the whole song.

    youtube.com/watch?v=LOG1ktZV0AI

  • I bought a white pick guard just so my Semi Hollow would look like his :) :) :)

Even though this is his solo album, its more Newsboys then what they are now... theyre more DC talk now :(

  • Amazing song!

but seriously, WHO WAS IT? WHO PRESSED THE DISLIKE BUTTON?

  • I agree with healthyamerican that it would be too cool if Phil Joel was the background vocals :)

  • @aimeejfay then it would be Newsboys ;) ;)

  • I miss Peter wen he was on Newsboys ='(

but newsboys hav an AMAZING singer now, there will always be a special place in my heart for peter

  • peter furler is the newsboys! i only hope, but its not likely, that the back up vocal on this song is phil joel. wouldnt that be coolness....

  • I heard this song on the local christian station the other day and was like...Newsboys have a new song out? Then today I heard it was just Peter Furler! I recognized the voice :) Great song!

  • Peter is great....but does this song not make you want to sing...."time after time"?

  • I'm not trying to be mean or offending but the part where it says "your love is bigger than just a ocean built by man" the word ocean is actually supposed to be notion :) well u c I went to a camp and in the counselors were arguing in the beginning weather it was "notion" or "ocean" so they tweeted Peter furlers agent and the agent said it was indeed notion :)

  • What drongo wouldn't like this song?

  • I love that everything that you've uploaded is christian! And I am an Invader fan but not as big as some people...Anyway I just enjoy hearing Furlers voice again!!!

  • PETER COME BACK. Newsboys isn't the same without you :"(

  • @thelastlonesurvivor this is the new newsboys lol

  • Miss Peter, not a big fan if Newsboys anymore. It was his voice that really made it stand out. Now it just sounds like some average pop....

  • Alright who hit the dislike button, who was it?

  • @armstrongbrosband No one did, they hit dislike because like was lame, they LOVE it! :D

  • @IKECH545 :)

  • @armstrongbrosband somebody who really needs God

  • @Petrafan327 Exactly

  • Furler is back!!! *HUGE GRIN* I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!! So excited, so ready to hear his voice again!!! I've missed him, when I first heard Newsboys without him I almost cried cause they didn't sound anywhere near the same! Then when I heard this song on the radio I almost cried again I was so excited to hear that voice! SO EXCITED!!!!

  • i totaly wish Peter would come back to newsboys and make them that unique newsboys sound again... to me newsboys sounds like DC talk or some hip hop garbage now..:*(

  • @neils1153 right on

  • This Song is very nice May God Bless hIm.

  • I am no longer a fan of the newsboys (the new ones anyway) It was his voice that made them what they are!!

  • This song is so awesome!!!!

Try listening to "I am free" by newsboys. Gives you the same feeling.

  • Everyone responding to PolaroidPandas1, responding in anger and ridicule only fuels Satan, and brings us down as a warrior for God.

  • Why are you all so explosive?

It was one comment, your reactions are ridiculous.

    Just CALM DOWN!

  • Another fantastic song by Peter I can't wait to hear more. You have an amazing voice thank you for sharing it.

  • @DatCrazydrophotsFTW If you think that's gonna change Mr. Camera-Panda boy's views, your crazy.

  • @DatCrazydrophotsFTW

    Um, I'm 14.

    Awkward for you.

  • You are all hilarious.

    You've all been brainwashed.

Thankyou all for adding some entertainment to the evening with you're enlightening comments. My family and I were quite amused.

  • @PolaroidPandas1 So you're your family's puppet? I see arrogance is hereditary. You have a strange way of communicating with people who are different than you for someone with an online name like that.

  • @Tunga001 Nope, not at all.

  • @PolaroidPandas

So the fact that Jesus' resurrection is one of the most historically documented events of the time is chance? The fact that the old testament laid out hundreds of requirements for a messiah and Jesus met every one of them even though the chances of meeting merely eight has been calculated to be 1 in billions is just chance. The fact that hundreds of eyewitnesses documented Jesus' miracles is supposed to be a big conspiracy. You are a misguided soul who needs to see the light.

  • @aa91597

    You're hilarious.

"You are a misguided soul who needs to see the light."

    I'm sorry but I can't even... That's hilarious.

  • @PolaroidPandas1 You actually found the time to have this useless conversation and not draw anything of value from it. You simply used it to make yourself feel better. With no good result I have no reason to stick around. Peace! [insert magic poof here]

  • Jesus is real Jesus is alive Jesus has risen. With complete sincerity pray and give him a chance to speak and bless.

  • Everybody gets to choose. Isn't that great? Choose to rely on what you have done and you wind up being judged according to your deeds. Too bad that doesn't work out. (Read Eevalation). Trust Jesus and be judged according to what he did. Too bad narrow is the way, and few there be that find it. This is a great song. Just wanted to comment for my agnostic friends.

  • @DatCrazydrophotsFTW

Wait, do you even know what flippant means?

  • Religion is fake. But Jesus Christ is Risen.

  • Comment removed

  • Peter WAS Newsboys, the heart and soul. They won't be the same without him, but his solo work should be just as awesome!

  • @DatCrazydrophotsFTW

    Are you that thick..?

    It's called being flippant?

  • "...the whole world lies in the power of the evil one." 1 John 5:19

"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." 2 Corinthians 4:18

"...'As I live!" declares the Lord God, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live." Ezekiel 33:11

  • @DatCrazydrophotsFTW

Yeah, that'd be true if he were actually real.

  • "Your love is bigger

Than just an ocean built by man "...?

If God's love's so big, then why does he spend so much time fucking up the world and people's lives?

    GOD IS A DICK HEAD!

    GO SATAN!

  • @PolaroidPandas1 - God does not spend any time F***ing up the world. Yes, He allows bad things to happen - but He does not make bad things happen. Why He allows them, only He knows - one day we will know why. God is a God of love, but He is also a God of justice. He cannot, and will not tolerate sin, and as a result, He allows us to experience the consequences of our own actions. I am sorry that life hasn't gone well for you, but allowing Jesus Christ in is the only way to true peace.

  • My life's fine, but if he's a God of Love, then answer me this; why are millions of innocent, sin free people living in poverty, starving, dying of deadly diseases? Why is he against people purely based on their sexuality, gender or background? Why does he "damn the non-believers to hell," is he against freedom of choice? In fact, what evidence do you have that out of all the religions that bored humans have come up with, yours is the one that's real? If he is real, then he's pure evil.

  • @PolaroidPandas1 First of all, you have an error right at the beginning of your question - "sin free" - none of us are "sin-free" not me, not you, not the pope. Romans 3:23 "For ALL have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." Secondly, the reason that we are not all living in the garden of Eden, is because of sin. Sin separates us from God, and we are now living with Adam and Eve's choice. The only way to true happiness, and eternal life is a relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • @quinting777 So you're saying Jesus/God, has never, not once sinned? Listen, there are all these stories of people being cured of life threatening illnesses by turning to god, and this tends to be white, middle class people. Why doesn't god save all those people dying of starvation and living in poverty overseas? If there was the slightest possibility that God/Jesus did in fact exist, he would be pure evil.

  • @PolaroidPandas1 Then we'd already be dead, or we'd already be in hell. There's a million-bajillion stories about Africans, Asians, and South Americans being saved the Lord Almighty. You're claim is completely unfounded. In fact, there many stories of angels in human form showing up in the most isolated areas and giving the gift of Christian radio to the locals. And if you think that God doesn't help people, you go help them yourself. We'll see what you can do.

  • Comment removed

  • @PolaroidPandas1 then you haven't heard the stories of the awesome things God is doing overseas, not in America. the stories alone bring people to Christ, they are so impressive.

  • @PolaroidPandas1 Further to that, even committing our lives to Jesus, and following him does not guarantee a "perfect" life. It all boils down to contentment. Yeah, I want to be rich, and would love to drive an exotic sports car. I wish my aunt wasn't in a hospital dying, but I am content, because I know that ultimately, Jesus is in control, and someday, when I am called home (either by death, or by surviving until the end of times), I know that at that point, all will be made perfect.

  • @quinting777 Jesus is a twat.

  • @PolaroidPandas1 As far as "evidence that other religions aren't real" ... I can only say this - if they in any way, stray from the truth of the Bible, then they are not real. The Bible, the Living Word of God, is inerrant, and true, and has remained so since it's completion 2,000 years ago. It has stood the test of time, and as matter of interest, has remained at the top of the best sellers list for many, many years.

  • @quinting777 Because you've all been sucked in to the invention of some bored HUMAN BEING.

    It's tragic.

  • @PolaroidPandas1 It does not follow logically that if God existed then He would stop evil and save everyone. That is an assumption based on what we think justice would be and not actual proof . However, since we are finite and mortal and we do not understand justice fully, and since God is infinite and does understand justice fully, it is then perfectly possible that God can exist in love, and evil exist as well, for reasons that are beyond us. The logic is solid and perfect.

  • @PolaroidPandas1 Try this...ask God (if He's real), to reveal Himself to you, and then to start reading the Bible, and see what happens....You will be absolutely AMAZED to find out that God IS REAL, He LOVES you (despite your unbelief), and that He is GOOD and PERFECT, DESPITE the existence of EVIL in the world.

  • @PolaroidPandas1 This is all true but he's a God of Love and he's doin what he's doin for a reason. Maybe he was trying to teach worldwide lesson on helping your neighbors. If everyone was honk-dorey do you think it would be highly valued to help people that were already fine? Man that's the kind of stuff you just straight up need to keep to yourself. Stop trollin, cause your bad at it. And if you haven't noticed people are SLIGHTLY agitated with this comment. But that's just my opinion.

  • i wish he would come back with newsboys

  • @latinagutarfreak Fun fact, I'd listened to a bunch of Newsboys music sung by John James and Peter Furler, and it was a long time before I even realized they were different people. Don't get me wrong, I like the sound of the new Newsboys, but I preferred their old sound.

  • This song reminds me of some of Vic Mignogna's work, in a very good way. Love this song!

  • @DarkPhantomJedi I xould see how it reminds you of him, I love Vic!!

  • I'm with latina, I don't even know where to start. I support spreading the Word of God, but no one is talking about that. We're talking about supporting a band - a BAND! - that has changed half it's members and by your own assessment sounds different and has a completely new style. Just because they kept the NAME?! They are not the same people, and they do not sound the same. That is the entire reason for liking ANY band! This really has to be explained?

  • God bless u Peter! Dios t ha bendecido con ese talento d música, estoy gozoso! porq todavía estas tocando!

  • I was very late to the Newsboys party. Even though I know there have been numerous changes over the years, I never knew any lineup than Peter, Duncan, Paul and Jeff. But I became a HUGE fan. My whole family did. For us Peter was the face and voice and personality of the Newsboys. For me they ceased to exist when Peter left. I don't care for Michael, and I haven't paid attention to them since. Fair? Maybe not. But it's how I feel.

  • @novemunusunus well, i personally have loved newsboys since i was a child, and i'm nineteen. (still young, i know. hahaha.) and i agree with you entirely. i saw them once with michael, but i wouldn't care to again. i wouldn't even know, at this point, if they've released a new c.d. with him, or anything, because i don't care to.

  • @123skeetskeet A true Newsboys fan would still support their changes. Yes the sound is different, its a completely new style with Tait, but the purpose to spread the word of God has always been the same. THAT'S what's important! Besides, Peter Furler wasn't the original Newsboys lead singer, John James was. Peter has been the lead for so long now that I think most people have forgotten about James. I'm sure that Peter went through the same distaste from the fans that Tait is dealing with now.

  • @latinaguitarfreak well, regardless, i liked peter best. and the music is different, so i don't understand how it makes sense that you have to LOVE a band unconditionally ; i liked PETER's voice. and PETER's sound. i don't just like a band because of what they preach. i like a band as a whole, and when a large piece of the band is gone, and i don't like the change, why would i listen to them? like i said. i saw them september of 2009, with tait, and i just didn't like it as much. my prerogative.

  • @123skeetskeet I understand, I didnt mean to imply that u had to still like them. I guess I just felt defensive at the moment because ur comment seemed a little harsh and there were many other commenters who felt the same way; but I understand what u mean. I also saw the Newsboys in concert before Tait came in, and after. There was a BIG difference, with Tait it felt more like a dance party and with Peter the concert was more inspiring. I did not mean to offend u if did.

  • i love this song! i personally like his voice better than Michael Taits

  • @donaldpshell I agree that the basic content of the message is unchanging, but still, creativity is a gift from God, so shouldn't we find new methods of presenting the Gospel message? Shouldn't our topics be as wide-ranging as the human pageant itself? Simple sentiment and generic inspiration aren't necessarily art, though they may qualify as genuine expressions of faith. ...and yeah, I'll most likely still buy the album :D

  • I love it

  • Missed you Peter, glad to hear your voice again!

  • It's so good to know that God alone does the reaching and all we have to do is reach back and take His hand.

  • I don't know what else to say. THIS GUY ROCKS! 'Nuff said!

  • Love it :D

  • Best song i have heard in a wile

  • Love u!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No dislikes!

  • Its great to hear his voice again!!!!! He was the reason I liked the Newsboys!

  • I like it almost as much as his old songs when he was still with the Newsboys.

  • 188 likes no dislikes! pretty good :D

  • Steve Taylor's back in the mix here... I think I can hear him in the BG vocals, and his songwriting/producing is definitely all over this. Yeah!!!!

  • Although this isn't considered Newsboys, In my mind this sounds more like the Newsboys than Michael Tait will be. Don't get me wrong, Michael Tait is great, just not Newsboys.

  • Is it just me or is Paul Colman in this song too?

  • @CheyenneABrown122 It's Phil Joel.

  • @armstrongbrosband Besides him too though, not just Peter and Phil.

  • Love this song. I miss these two guys from the Newsboys especially how Peter lead the Newsboys for so long. Always loved Phil Joel's back up vocals as well when he was with the band as well.

  • Love this song. I miss these two guys from the Newsboys especially how Peter lead the Newsboys for so long.

  • 0 Dislikes. Nothing else needs to be said.

  • so great to hear that voice again! i wish he'd go back to the Newsboys or, if that wasn't possible, that the Newsboys moniker would fold up shop and take a new name or something cuz it ain't the newsboys without peter than it was creed without scott strapp (alter bridge) or gnr without axle rose (velvet revolver)! great to see peter get back into music again, though! love his voice, love his lyrics, love what he did with the Newsboys! great to have him back!

  • YEAH IWISH HE WAZ BACK IN NEWSBOYS IDONT LIKE DAT NEW SINGER

  • Oh that voice.... how I have missed it... I love Tait, but there's something about Peter's voice that makes you all happy inside :)

  • On my channel, I have a website listed that really does a good job of explaining the gospel and salvation. Its the scribd one (for any who are interested).

  • This is the voice that made Newsboys. Peter Furler rocks, with a group or by himself.

  • as much as I love Michael Tait, it's good to hear Peter's voice again!

  • Man! I so miss the sound of Peter in the Newsboys!!!

  • I wish i was there back then when he toured with the newsboys and hear Something Beautiful ....that song means alot to me

  • As much as I admire Peter--definitely my favorite Christian artist--still, these lyrics are just a rehash of Christian lyrics from the past 20 years.... His music is impeccable at least.

  • I'm flipping, cuzz I couldn't wait for this to come out!

  • Pete's got a cool Aussie dad. Have ya heard him in YouTube yet? @kurtwvs

  • i love this song & him

  • well i love peter furler...and i understand why he left newsboys...think about it...20 straight years on tour will do something to you...BUT i love michael tait and saw him and newsboys live last month and they were amazing as well...as long as they are worshiping the same god its all good

  • This dude is amazing!

  • I love Peter Furler and this is a good song but it's still not the Newsboys. Hopefully he'll have some more Newsboys-like creativity next song. Still a good song.

  • i missed this guys voice

  • This song is amazing I'm sooo glad he started singing again I was sooo upset wen he left the newsboys!!! This song sounds like the real original newsboys!! I don't like the new singer of that band now!!!

  • @xXsierraXx1997 I agree! I think Peter is what made the Newsboys... Now that he is gone, it's just not the same. But I praise the Lord he is still singing, even if it's by himself.

  • I love this song, and im sure everyone else does too :)

  • PETER COME BACK TO NEWSBOYS!!! WE MISS YOU!!!!!!!

  • The Secret to The Newsboys is the awesome Keyboard skills. Surely everybody knows it.

  • niiice

  • Basically he, and phil joel were the only writers and singers in the band, so thats basically a newsboys song here

  • Basically he, and phil joel were the only writers and sings in the band, so thats basically a newsboys song here

  • So worth the wait we have had until he came back to doing his work for the Lord. And from these words--the Lord would not GIVE UP ON HIM, and either have us. Good work Peter along with Phil / Seth...

  • I kinda wish he was back in Newsboys, however it is really good to hear his creativity and passion again

  • Wonderful song.

  • Sooooo happy to here Peter Fuler's voice again.... I missed him soo much when he left the Newsboys.... now that he's back, I'm sooo happy <3 :) lol

  • Peter & Phil...yea thats sound I grew up with!!! So glad to be hearing it again!! =)

  • Sooooooooo, why didnt he just stay in Newsboys?

  • YAY FOR PETER!!!!!

  • How wonderful to hear the sound of "Newsboys" again. I am so thrilled to see you are back in your passion. It appears "we" share the same passion of your ministry in music. :)

  • Great tune..... Love it.....

  • For wc4. It's "Your love is bigger than just a notion built by man."

  • I cried when i first heard this. He has inspired me in so many ways- he is extremely talented. God has really blessed him(:

  • Nice D5 in the coda

  • What does he mean by "an ocean built by man" in the first verse?

  • @wcr4 maybe the gap(ocean) between God and man.

  • Peter writes some amazing songs!!!

  • I was just watching the Newsboys in Fayetteville, NC online and saw this announced. Shows that patience provides outcomes that hoped for sometimes eventually pay off with a blessing. Welcome back, I hope to see you, Peter, again live on a stage...again.

  • Amazing!! Anything this guy does is awesome!! Thank you Peter for serving GOD with such passion. GOD bless and encourage you and your family. (Thanks for your family values in ministry. This seems to be a rare thing these days!!)
