  • wow lol

  • ...I laughed until my stomach hurt!

  • I can't decide if this is cute or terrifying. I guess it's both.

  • lol

  • 1:07 "My preciousssss..."

  • Oh! uh...

  • I wish I could get my kid to eat a scoby

  • This video is so funny. We own a brewery and our kids eat it often. They also have an aversion to candy, white flour, juice boxes, multicolored craziness and highly processed foods. The SCOBY mother is also great for skin and hair care. Coupled with an internal detox, try a routine facial with the SCOBY. Mother Nature provides so much of our needs

  • I got a good laugh off'a this video... so funny...I hope she didn't get sick? /over loaded w/those bacterias...

  • As the theme song to "Different Strokes" goes. "Now, the world don't move to the beat of just one drum, What might be right for you, may not be right for some." In short if one person likes to jump off bridges, that doesn't mean you have to also. #choices

  • Yet more proof that the 'booch' is an evil organism that takes over your brain.

  • @aberdeen14 I'm the one who is disgusting you say, really? Grow up. I have the right to voice my opinion just like everyone else.

  • More then two yrs later...is she still kickin?

  • Instincts rule. Listen, and your body will tell you what you need. Those who don't need protein, may dislike meat. One with a clogged or sluggish liver may prefer Italian salad dressing and crave pickles,or lemons. Why? Lemons and vinegar clean the liver. If the child wanted a whopping dose of probiotics, I say let her have it. Rather watch her eat a cheese burger? Only because you don't know cows are slaughtered for meat when they are so sick and diseased they would be dead in 6 months anyway.

  • works on plumbing too

  • I LOVE IT!!! I was comtemplating trying some of my mother the other day but it was just too slimy for my senses to bear. more power to you noelle! I don't think my "SCOOBY" as my little brother likes to call it, will ever been eaten on my by myself or any of my other house member( minus my cats)... lol. she probably had fantastic bowel movements for the next few days.

  • This is sooo cute!!!

  • That is awesome!

  • lol she reminds me of my daughter.

  • wth its living why would yo let ur toddler eat it by the fact that you can sell those for like 50 bucks or so

  • She is adorable! Our daughter, also Noelle is 15 months now :)

  • Awesome !!! Was laughing my arse off :D

  • I was reluctant to eat the SCOBY, but once I tried it, I wondered why I haven't done it sooner. It tastes good. If you've ever tried coconut jelly, it has a very similar taste and texure. You can cut it up into pieces and put it in jello or juice, or simply eat it as is. It's great!

  • I'm studying naturopathic medicine, and I'm not sure that this is actually healthy. There are waste products in the SCOBY. Also, consider how eating such a large colony of microbes can affect the homeostasis of your child's gastrointestinal tract! It might to good for her, but it might also be a really bad idea. Just sharing my knowledge

  • @BohemianBirth

Aren't the waste product in the actual Kombucha? Isn't that the point of the brew? Acetic acid is a waste product & is what you want. Other acids & things that are made by the bacteria & yeasts digesting are all waste products to them but beneficial to us. Waste doesn't mean harmful. Yogurt is curdled because of the waste of the bacteria eating the lactose. The scoby is mostly cellulose, so it will not even be digested, the bacteria and yeast are already drunk many times over.

  • @demikonesolo wow lighten up, I'm sure it was fine and she was fine

  • Yum. Probiotics.

  • That's it! Am going to go right now and take a bite of my komby momma! If its good for the baby its good for the granny!

  • It scares me too watch this!

  • This is so cute haha. I almost cried! That's awesome, it's like she naturally knew that it was good for her.

  • that kid knows too much

  • lol and i was scared to touch mine... haha

  • This reminds me of Ed eating that mysterious fungal space alien on that one episode of Cowboy Bebop.

  • cute! i wish u were my mother when i was growing up.

  • What does it taste like? Charlie Sheen's dignity? Bet that tastes DELICIOUS!! She's a real cutie by the way! ^_^

  • Too funny :0) little health-nic ♥ p.s. you're a good mommy xo

  • That was adorable! LOL "Chew that up, girly!" Your daughter is awesome.

  • "this is what happens when you raise your child to think cod liver oil is a treat" BWAAAH hahaha!!!! love it.

  • @whatUneverknew yours too? I thought I was the only one. LOL

  • hahahahahahahaha!

Your precious little thing. So did you notice any special superpowers the next day?

  • As a parent you should have no worries in nowing this young girl will grow up to do great things and live a healthy life. This made me smile! Thanks for posting it.

  • Sorry hit post by accident. I meant to say thanks for posting. We should all encourage our children to eat healthier! Great job!

  • Very adorable! Thins

  • WOW she is going for it too..lmao

  • Oh my gosh...I brew Kombucha...but is eating the SCOBYsafe? I really don't think I'd be letting my child eat that. Gross...

  • @RachelMarie81 Yes, you can eat them. A high speed blender works good for that. Mix in some soy milk, banana, berries and sweetener. Mmm. Some yogurt in there. Or you can just blender the tea with the SCOBYs in there.

  • @RachelMarie81 very healthy!! its no different then drinking the Kombucha itself

  • This is adorable and awesome. She sees this "mushroom" floating in a vat of tea and decides to chow down, such a precocious child!

  • In my head, I hear music from godzilla or king kong.....

    and japanese yelling.....

    lmao!

  • You can dry out extra SCOBYs for dog chew toys, too. Heck, I guess you could dry one out for the kid to chew on when she's bored.

  • Respond to this video... IT WOULD BE LIKE A KOMBUCHA PORK RIND.

  • hahahaha

  • I have tasted kombucha before and it is like eating a pickles. I just want to know how this mum got the toddler to eat the kombucha because mine won't even go near broccoli!

  • Yummy! I wish I was this cool; I have to drink my kombucha as a second ferment with fruit, spoiled teenager I am. XD

I think I'm gonna try it this way, though--it looks like fun!!

  • LOL! that is disturbing....she attacked it!

  • Too funny. I love the comment at the end. My dad used to feed me raw garlic cloves when I was that size----I can't imagine!

  • is that bad for you?

  • of course not

  • Too funny! I blended a small SCOBY once into a smoothie I made. It was okay, but a bit vinegary.

  • I would think she was attracted to its energy.

  • omg,it looks like bologna

  • Uh... I wouldn't have thought of eating something that looks like a Kombucha mother but I guess most food looks kinda disgusting in one way or another...

  • Your horrible people !

  • omg she's eating a kombucha mother whole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol awesome todler eats fungi

  • for the 10 millionth time KOMBUCHA IS NOT A FUNGUS!!

it's the scoby consists of YEAST, BACTERIA., and cellulose.

  • @fetymann : Of course yeast are fungi...

  • @fetymann : It would be more accurate to say that it's not just a fungus, as yeasts are in fact fungi.

  • it's not a fungi

  • Too funny! It took me a while to figure out that this wasn't just some random youtube someone posted on facebook, but someone I actually know!

Maybe I can show it to my kids and they will want to try it as well ;-)
