  • you have connelrad on that radio? wow 640 n 1240, we all fell for that,,,oh yes love the music.

  • Thank You,,, BlueberryBurrito. Lovely, Just Lovely, My Ink Spots records were swamped in the rain, lost them, Hope all is well for you... regards gd

  • Thanks for posting this...never heard this version before. Lovely.

  • This type of music has a magical power to energize and relax me at the same time.

  • 5 stars...I stil LOVE these guys...music is so relaxing....

  • I love the crackle of the record. It's so atmospheric :)

  • @Leygoes Decca label records were not made of the best material (the blue labels and brown 18000 series) They were fine when new but deteriorated rather quickly. Still very listenable, doesnt bother me a bit.

  • Oh god I love how most old song videos are filled with Fallout comments.

  • Can everyone just stop talking about fallout and listen to the song.

  • its all about gauss rifle blastin them into oblivion in new vegas

  • 100 unarmed plus spiked knuckles will knock the shit out of a deathclaw with just two selections using vats

  • I've heard this before but it wasn't on youtube or fallout games, does anyone know if this was in any tv shows/movies or anything?

  • Like the 'Ink Spots' and I love this song........

  • so do most of the ink spots songs have the same intro?

  • @1KIELS All the songs on all their records I own start that way.

  • @BlueberryBurrito The reasoning behind that is because the song that made them famous had that intro, so they didn't want to change it in fear of losing their popularity, which is pretty sound reasoning considering the fact that they were an all black band working during the Great Depression.

  • @1KIELS You have to remember that this was the time of the jukebox - it was so that you would know which group it was, like a musical signature.

  • @1KIELS there's a few different ones, and they happen to be my favs. "Swing high?" I think that's one, as well as "Christopher Columbus"

  • @1KIELS That's kinda like their calling card.

  • orriginally by duke ellington - lyrics by the inkspots i think

  • @busessuck1 I don't think the Inkspots wrote the lyrics, but it was a popular tune during the 30s and this is a nice, relaxed version.

  • My Dad was at dental school in the early 1950s and one of the students' drinking songs (to this tune) went :

    "Missed the lavatory pan

    P----ed all over the floor

cleaned it up with my toothbrush

Don't clean my teeth much any more"

  • Liked the sound track, and the attempt at creating an "aged" black & white film. Only problem is - film was expensive, so it's unlikely that anyone would waste 3 minutes of it filming a radio "doing nothing" close up. Love their "Whispering Grass", as well.

  • Great sound!!

    ptm51

  • I love the ink spots.

  • One of my Dad's favorite bands. This and the Kingston Trio

  • for all you young kids, this is a duke ellington tune. you should check him out. lots of great stuff.

  • Love it...Fallout showed me the Ink spots...Im 18 and im loving this band so so much...

  • if it wasn't for fallout i wouldn't have know such a good band existed. This is my favourite song! must have heard it a hundred times already.

  • I kind of like the background "noise". I feel like it adds to the authenticity of it all :D

  • Ink spots & Beethoven. Wonderful.

  • Silence + That music = :D

  • lovely stuff

  • be nice to hear without the noise huh ? kewl thou

  • Lawl.

  • i dont know why people thumbs this down. its so naive to think the record noise gives it authenticity. A good recording captures what it was like to listen to it back in the day... as in when it was fresh and the records werent as worn.

Both ways are neat and nostalgic but alot of middleaged ppl only recognize the one way.

  • Makes me wanna punch a deathclaw

  • unless you've got a power fist i wouldn't try it.

  • @jasongosen or a deathclaw gauntlet :P

  • @Reknephis I wouldn't call this "a punch", tough :P

  • @jasongosen Or a deathclaw gauntlet, might need to use a powerfist to get one though.

  • Or Tbag a raider

  • haha I tried that once....but I didn't turn out sooo great..I have yet to encounter one again :(

  • lmao

  • @GunToad lmao
